It's a lovely mod isn't it buddy.
I've the next in my asmodus journey on the way. The minikin v2.
Quickly becoming a fan boy.
It's really nice! I think it is going to be my main mod for a long time. Compact , solid and enough power for any of my builds. The finish feels quite durable too. I am impressed. I.dropped my minikin and batteries are loose in it now. I wish the regular one had the same battery door as the Kodama. I love that one. I have been into Asmodus since I got my first of their mech mods. 5 years of use and still looks and works great.

I think I already posted this here but these are my others.

Been testing the internal charger for about two weeks and it's been solid. No excess heat and as the back just pulls back to reveal the usb (nice touch to keep the minimalist lines of the mod) it also allows excellent venting room while charging.
Again I'd always recommend external charging with a quality charger (beware fake nitecore's) when left unattended but I've had no issue's and fast charging. All good.

I wish I understood the modes and how to use them better. There needs to be a TC for Dummies.

I think there is. Google it. I’ve read just about every article and a lot of videos I could find about temp control when I decided to try it.

Fortunately for me I had only been vaping about a month when there was a lot of new threads discussing temp control. I wanted to use it specifically for having a temperature cutoff after reading about the dangers of vaping over abt 450F. I started building at the same time so it all kind of meshed together for me. I didn’t have a history of vaping any other way so it was easy for me - there was no transition. TC also made dry hits a thing of the past.

Setting up tc, TCR and tfr with the Asmodus chip can be a bit frustrating. It’s definitely not the best or easiest chip to maneuver but these newer chips are faaar better than the Oder ones. There wasn’t really any point even trying to use it imo.

I think if you spent some time reading articles about it instead of often confusing thread posts you’d get a better idea of how and why it works and translate that into making it work for you.

Once you understand how it works and what parameters that need to be adjusted it’s just a matter of setting it up on any mod that includes a workable suite.

Imo it’s definitely learning about and using it.

I love the looks of the Thor II - love the purple faceplate and the battery tube holder- love it more than the gold on my Thor I, but I just love my Thor I, and I think I got a great stabwood color and I can live with the Gold, maybe keep checking back with Asmodus- it said sold out, but when I called they did have 1- that is the one I bought
A guy on another forum purchased 2 of the Thor II from England, over $600.00 for the 2 of them- I think I would be looking at Vicious Ant- they have some beautiful mods too.
The thing dissuading me from purchasing one of the Thor II is the price- OUCH! No way would I spend $300.00 on it!

You’re going to pay at least twice that for a Viscious Ant lol! I’ve joined a couple of custom made Stabwood FB pages and the prices on some are outrageous. Although some are truly pieces of art. But I don’t want Art I want a vape mod that I’m not afraid to touch!!

I guess it depends on everyone’s individual financial setup. A few years ago when I was working and making almost triple digits buying a a $1500 or so custom mod would’ve been doable. Now I’m very happy with my mass produced Chinese stabwoods. They work well, look beautiful and for the most part are made well.

Some day when I can think straight I’ll look into it. I just have a lot of other things on my mind, hard to concentrate.

Yep it's pearl white with s blue undertone. I love the paint job on this one.

I have the white minikin v2 and yes that pearl finish is beautiful, mine has a bluish tint too, but I have seen some with pink tint too. This color is so nice in person- I bought mine from a vape shop almost 3 years ago - I really went to get the pink when I went there- but loved the white pearl more.

Yes many of the stabwood mods are outrageous prices-
I would love to get a Vicious Ant stabwood some day , they are gorgeous. Works of Art yes- but I wouldn't be afraid to use it.
I am happy with my mass produced Chinese stabwood mods too, really affordable with all the sales at Vapor Range and Asmodus.

I felt like you. Wish I understood it more. Finally just messed around with it today and am vaping in TC. Pretty easy. Set the temp, set the watts and go. As in anything else just adjust to your sweet spot. I am at 350 F and 55 watts and it is good. I will keep playing around with it

My gray C only gleams a bit.

well, i have to tell that mine Colossal one is running TCR, SS316 like a champ, set TCR for SS316 1st atempt: 0.01991, duno why but worked, i did the wrong research, then @Mordacai gave a little light in the way, corrected to 0.00088, set temp to max : 550F, sat device alone in the desk for a while, then tried and felt difference,

here is the video that also helped me a lot to understand, modes, touch screen gestures and more!

I love this color. The pearl really looks cool in the sunlight. How does the finish hold up? Feels like it will be really tough.
