Um, I have the worst luck with the stabwoods of all. My REPLACEMENT for the first one I got is now messed UP. When I throw batteries in it sort of does that swirly color thing, then I actually DO get the pleasure of stating my batteries are married then the screen goes blank. I will try some different things later.

But, I'm not warrantying THIS time. If I even can. It's gonna be refund all the way. Can you warranty a warranty and why does this keep happening. I did not get a DROP of eliquid even SPIT even on this one.

One set of batteries worth of use once again I am not best pleased.

I have to admit my stupidity and note that this morning I like, well, kept hitting the no button to the battery marriage thing. I'm really glad it's ah back on its feet.

To be fair to myself (not really, I'm just dumb) but I am kind of used to the "yes" button being on the right, I had a left handed brother, and I can tell you there is a reason it used to be known as the "sinister" hand.

But all is well except I can't read I guess. Maybe that mod really WANTS you to be paying attention.

That was not my problem with the first one, and the second one is definitely different. I was happy I like it I was rooting for it.

Vape mail brought an asMODus/HSV designed Rosefinch 24.5mm mech mod. I usually don't go for engraved stuff but when I saw this on clearance at sourcemore for $23.90 I couldn't pass it up. Before I bought it I had them verify it is an authentic (it is). It's built very very solidly. Above the HSV logo are engraved "Harmony Sunshine Virtue".

Vapor Range is currently selling them for $179.95 (a few other online stores are even higher). There is a self adjusting 510 pin and it has a magnetic firing switch. It's a copper body with silver plated contacts. It features an asMODus design called a Levitating Firing Button which automatically calibrates itself when a battery is inserted so that battery adjustments and atty adjustments are not required. The LFB floats on an insulator that prevents accidental firing when standing upright. Great vape too.

The newest asMODus member to the family.

@DeloresRose , I know how you are with "everything" asMODus (you got me into them) maybe consider grabbing one, or two, of these. They come in a copper and brass version. Mine is brass. I just ordered the copper version moments ago. I couldn't pass another up at that price. Stash.

It doesn't have any protections like the Luna does but you know when the battery in your Luna is getting low by the weaker hit...it is the same with a mech. I can get almost a full day with an 18650 in a mech depending on build. The 650 (last 3 digits), in an 18650, equals the amount of run-time in hours and minutes...so 6hrs 50min based on approximately a 1 ohm build in an atty. I learned that from ECF's Qorax. An 18500 = 5hrs and an 18350 = 3.5 hrs. I know you build lower, as do I, so you just take the battery out after a couple hours pop it in the charger to see where it is at. That way you know for certain, complete safety, totally yes.

I’m terrible at remembering who posted what... was it you who posted this in Shinyitis? Because of course I saw it, and of course I bought one in each color. Pictures when they arrive!

Yes, that was me. My memory stinks too. What was I saying.... Oh yeah, funny how I can remember all sorts of detailed stuff from the 60's, 70', 80's etc but can't remember recent things as well. I think "those" days/years were memories worth saving. Most of them anyhow. I don't know about you but I miss the 70's and 80's.

Speaking of memory... The other day I couldn't find my car keys for the life of me. We trained the dog to "find keys" and she found them in the bathroom garbage and brought them to me (along with some used kleenex) . :?: Go figure... I have no clue how I managed that.

We trained her very early on as a pup to pickup metal items as most dogs won't. She was my wife's service dog. Carli can and loves to do all sorts of things. I'll tell her to bring my socks and shoes and she gets all happy and brings them. She knows the difference between shoes and slippers too. Carli is trained to do that with many items. I keep her going with the training she had and am constantly training her new things. She loves training and can go for quite some time.

Someday, if you can, please do post a complete asMODus family photo. I would love to see all. :thumb:

The next time I lose a Wasp behind a minikin, I’m gonna ask you to send your dog over!

I’ve been meaning to get an AsMODus family shot for a while now. But I always have another one on the way and I think, I’ll just wait for that one too, lol.

Wait for them all and pop up a family photo. I think that would be way cool.

Haha, Carli is really good at finding things. She brings me pens that I lose all the time. Last week after grocery shopping she reached into a bag grabbed a box, came to me, and sat in front of me holding it. I took it and she went and got another. She likes to help too lol.

Not long ago I was cleaning one of my Primes at the kitchen table. The base was still wet from it's Dawn bath and slipped from my hand and she caught it. She promptly ran to her kennel and set it in front of herself. I went back to the kitchen, sat down, and told her to "bring it". She came flying in and dropped it right in my hand. The base was all goobered up so it got washed it again lol. Carli is a trip.

Georgia is smart and easily trained, but she is security, not a personal assistant. She’s let me know that in no uncertain terms.

Nobody comes through my front gate without her knowing and alerting me. So if I have a package coming, I just tell her to see if there’s a squirrel in the yard and she flies to the window and I don’t have to get up and look 100 times, lol.

My Ohmsmium arrived! Wow, is it heavy--weighs more than the Aegis 100W, which is the heaviest mod in my current rotation. I like it, though: it's very comfortable to hold. The purple speckles don't even bother me much.
I'm happy you like it Zazie! :) I really like mine and <YES> it sure is heavy. I'm holding a Squid DB v3 (2 18650's) in one hand and the Ohmsmium in the other... the Ohmsmium is heavier.

The purple speckles have grown on me and now I have a mod with purple. Although I would still like to find a purple 1 of 1 Luna. The Luna's are what got me into purple. Every time I thought I had one it was sold, rats! Still looking...

She is stunning, on top of being such an awesome service dog
