WAIT! No! It did work! It is performing as it should I just needed to give it some more air! As Jason stated, the .3 ohms of these coils is not performing and just giving dry hits, but the chemical taste is gone and it isn't harsh, produces clouds, but the hits are burnt! So I should be fine if I switch back to the original 0.5 ohm coils I think! Thanks man! Cleaning method approved!!!

The battery is good for .3-1.0 ohms, but the atlantis ver1 is not good for the 58.8 watts a freshly charged CF battery is putting out to that .3 ohm coil. Too much heat, not enough wicking and airflow. Try it on a regulated mod with lower watts or run the .5 ohm coils and see if that fixes it.
Wicking actually is't an issue at all, as it all takes place in the coil itself. That said, the airflow and lack of power are the issues. At 59 watts, that coil hasn't even begun to work to its potential. Airflow certainly is an issue, though. That coil (and the newer 0.5) really need the extra air the v2 base provides. The 0.3 coil really needs at least 70 watts to take off, too. I personally use my v2 base with my aftermarket v1 7ml tank upgrade and the 0.3 coil on a Smok XPro M80 at 75 watts. I hate the airflow control drip tip on the v2, and since that's all I lost, I'm more than happy. Thev2 base also works great with the official Aspire 5ml tank upgrade, too. Same situation with the drip tip, though if that's an issue with you. I'd wager Aspire has a 5, 7, or 8 ml tank upgrade in the works with the v2 airflow drip tip, too.
