Looking at my brand new Aspire Atlantis, it's making me wonder. The "Rook" shaped cuts in the tube part of the tank prevent me from filling all the way to edge. Also, the entire metal part that holds the drip tip has no juice capacity. It almost makes me think that Aspire purposefully limited the Atlantis to 2ml so that they could come to the market later with a 4ml version "upgrade." Any thoughts?

I don't know why Aspire chose to limit the tank size, but it might be for a very good reason. Maybe more juice gives greater stand pressure and causes flooding with the huge juice holes in the coil, maybe a bigger juice tank burns the juice leaving anything more than 2ml dark and changes flavor drastically, maybe they just want to come out with a tank upgrade kit in 2 months? There could be a number of reasons they did it this way, but after experiencing how good this tank works (with admittedly small tank volume) I'm guessing they didn't just pull the 2ml number out of their rear end. There just might be a very good reason for it.

I think the size and capacity was done on purpose. Like me i think people want small sleek looking tanks. Compared to the nautilus mini i think the atlantis looks way nicer. Personally i dont need a gigantic ipv3 box mod with an 8ml tank but some people do. Maybe they will release a larger tank, if not i would be ok with it.

I see this as a potential +. Can change flavors without having to vape through a big tank. I don't like to dump juice back in the bottle when changing flavors, just vape it down and then clean/change. I'm sure my view on this will change when I'm refilling every 8 draws . . .

I think it is a matter of habits. I used to hate dripping because every few puffs required another drip; but now I don't even think about it.

The size and capacity works for me. I put different juice everytime I refill. The size is just a little bigger than the Orchid v3. Not a fan of tall tanks.. if I were, I'd get a Squape. Would be nice if it had a top filling cap like the one I put on the Orchid v3. Needle bottles not needed though, so that's great.

When I installed the coil in the top and then screwed the bottom to the coil the device wouldn't fire but would fire with an N mini. Screwing the Atlantis coil into the bottom firsts then screwing on the top corrected the problem.

Most of the time I fire the atlantis at 8 watts. The N mini doesn't come close to the same vapor even at higher watts. Is the Atlantis using power more efficiently or is the mod supplying more power somehow even at the same watts?

This makes sense that it might not fire since the coil might not make good contact (or contact at all) with the atomizer base. This tank does not have a spring n the bottom to take up any gap between bottom of the coil and the tank base like the Nautilus does (and this is better since it doesn't use a spring for conductivity), so it is very possible to not make good contact. If you use this method of filling, at least don't screw the coil all the way into the chimney so you can make sure that the coil contacts the base. Even screwing the coil into the chimney part way will block the juice from leaking out and will make sure to contact the base, so this fill method will still allow to fill the tank fuller. But TBH, I would still fill it with the coil not screwed into the chimney and screwed tightly into the base so that I can have maximum contact between the coil and base and the best possible contact for the best vape.

on the wattage part, depends on your device. IE, I know my ipv2 wont fire below battery voltage, it instead just dumps straight voltage (so IE, my atlantis on my ipv2 will fire around 30-ish watts on a fresh battery even if I set it to 8.). That being said, atlantis in this situation obviously will outperform most tanks on that device when set to 8w.

will say tho, lovin mine at 41.5w ^^
