Your coil lifetime matches up pretty well with mine, I usually only get a few days use out of anything (whether it be carto, clearomizer coil or disposable atty).

coil life will be highly variable between users. There are so many variables at play, one of the biggest being the juices used. Personally, I consider a few days to be getting my money's worth out of them, anything longer than that is just a bonus to me ;-)

I'm a pretty heavy vapor and I have 2 tanks I use with the BVC's. In my Mini I use my clearer liquids 50/50 and I discard them after 2 weeks. And in my Silo tank I use a much darker liquid and I get about 7 days before I toss it. Sweeter juices definitely cut my coil life in half. But I have no issues tossing a coil after 7 days; I feel like I'm getting my monies worth after a week. I've had great luck and I'm very pleased with the BVC's.

I was buying coils every 2-3 days(sometimes 1-2 days), until I changed to non sweet fluids, or cut them 50/50. Been on the same coil for 6 days now. Every night I drop it into a little cup of 91% rubbing alcohol, and it just keeps on going like new every morning. It begins to pop a little late in the day, but by the next morning it vapes like I put in a brand new coil. It's not degrading a little more each day like I originally thought it would.

I've gone as long as 6 weeks on non nautilus coils and 4 weeks on nautilus coils. I'll rinse with hot tap water and have tried the vodka bath overnight. The vodka did remove more smell from the coil but after drying I couldn't tell the difference from just hot tap water. I'll use a coil until it's not satisfying anymore, if I need to drop the watts too low to enjoy it's trash.

I use a Silo lite with the bvc heads on avg ~5 hours a day. I got my first BVC head on Nov 14th. I have run Boba's / Castle Long and El Kamino through it. I have not had to swap a coil yet but I have to be close as my 2.1ohm coil is up to 2.5 on the reading. Performance and flavor are still holding up fine.

Tried numerous methods to try and get more from my coils (nautilus), settled on the following.
1. Rinse with warm water and inspect just how far gone they are, tossing them only if things have gotten really bad and/or deformed. (Tossing or set aside to rebuild)
2. If things just look used but coil and wicks are still physically in good shape (use strong flashlight to really see) then i let them soak in vodka bath which is in ultra sonic cleaner..30 min or so.
3. Run ultrasonic cleaner for a few minutes.
4. Readjust their position in cleaner by shaking them around a bit in the basket that holds them.
5. Soak a bit longer..30 min or so.
6. Run cleaner again for couple minutes.
7. Pull out, rinse under lightly running hot tap water.
8. Set in front of small fan until dry.

Usually do this method in batches to make it worth the time, then again other times i've gotten lazy and the steps get spread out over the course of a day or two and results dont change to much.

Never dryburn. Make sure completley dry and inspected (including check on ohm meter) before use.

Test them by just priming wick and taking a few puffs.

Flavor is very important to me, life is to short to vape "ok" juice, so if flavor is to far off they go into a rebuild pile.

May seem like alot of work but it's really not, just some waiting here and there, maybe use of tweezers or little flosser brushes every now and then.
Reward is saving cash for more juice and close to new coil. Have some coils going on a few months of heavy use. I vape 10ml daily avg, dripping included.

Hope that helps

I always clean my BVCs. I just use very hot water through a high pressure sink sprayer. Then I boil water in the microwave & put the coil in to soak for while, then rinse again. I get a few uses out of them that way. I learned -- do not soak too long in the water, like overnight. That screen in there rusts, quick. Just an hour or so is good.
