Basically they both use the same BVC's and they are both glass.

I need a few new tanks so can have a few flavours on the go / rotation without the hassle of changing and cleaning the one tank.

I have a nautilus Mini and it is good, but would rather have 3 K1 Glassomizers for the price of one Nautilis Mini if they are basically the same thing with 0.5ml less capacity....

anyone used both that can give a decent comparison?

Cheers

I have three nautilus mini's and they are sturdy as military tanks. I've dropped them and never had the glass break. Good flavor. Never had a K1 so can't compare.

The K1 has a fixed (very tight) airflow - don't expect anything other than mouth to lung with this tank. I also found I needed to dry the mod of juice more often with the K1due to how the coil is fitted in the tank.

And bear in mind that the K1 is ego threaded so you'll need an adaptor to use it with a 510 connection.

I also think the flavour is muted in the K1 when compared to to Mini.

I think they're good for people making the step up from CE4s but if you're used to the Nautilus Mini, it's a step back.

I have both and I'm "on the fence" as which one is "better" than the other.

The Nautilus (in theory) has airflow control (goes from fairly useless to completely useless IMHO), is easier to fill and has a bit more capacity. The tank and coils are more expensive than the K1.

The K1 and Maxi use smaller coils (which if you drill out one or both of the holes on the connector is the limiting factor for air flow) and less capacity. The cross member in the tank makes filling more of a chore than it needs to be.

For me it basically comes down to the coils. I've gotten overly restrictive airflow on both types. It is a bit of a hit/miss at times. I've rebuilt both types of coils. IMHO: A modified K1 can perform as well or better than a Nautilus.

Fasttech (and others) often have clone hardware at a fraction of the cost of authentic Aspire goods. A Nautilus mini clone might cost the same or less than a authentic K1.
