Hello everyone!

I've been using the Nautilus Mini for a few weeks now, and highly enjoy it, but there's one thing that keeps making want to get a different tank: the atomizers. I don't chain vape, nor do I go above 9.5 watts. I also make sure to prime the atomizers before use and let them sit for a while. The issue is that they only seem to last a few days, even on low watts. Is there something going on with them, or is it possible that I got a few duds?

I am considering getting a different tank (something that's less than $20) to see if they last longer. I don't care if the flavor is slightly muted (I don't like anything too strong), but these atomizers seem to be a hit or miss, from my experience. I heard that Aspire changed the materials as well. Could this be a contributing factor?

If anyone recommends a different tank, or if I should stick with the Nautilus Mini, let me know. I'll consider both points of view :)

Note: MBV is selling 1.6 ohm variants, so I am considering those as well.

EDIT: I'm using an iStick 40W TC.

EDIT 2: Realized I put this in the wrong board. My mistake

Stock coils in my Nuatilus, Nautilus mini, Atlantis and Triton all last 2 to 3 days max. I rebuild them. It depends on your juice and how much you vape as to how long they last. My experience has been 20 mls of juice through and the stock coils is in the trash unless I pull it apart and do a rebuild.

In my experience atomizer longevity is most related to niquid factors, I.e. dark, sweet niquids foul an atomizer fairly quickly, high VG niquids that don't wick well cause burning that kills quickly too.

I've been using a Nautilus exclusively for 3 months with a DIY, 50/50, clear, vanilla cupcake niquid. My atomizers could last 10-20 days before I feel like they need to be changed out.

The coils in my 4 - Aspire Atlantis IIs, and 1 - Triton, all on Aspire coils are more than two months old and I vape btw 55W and 100W on 0.3ohm coils on a Sigelei 150W box mod. All I can say is, I wash them once in a while under faucet water, and refill immediately w new e-liquids. Also, I chain vape all day, and when I vape, I hit it hard to keep airflow and liquid coming across the coils. If I feel anything that even remotely begins to taste like it's burning, I back off the wattage by 10W, and hit it hard again.

I have tried a lot of tanks and to me , the Aspire BVC heads for my Nautilus last much longer than any other head i have tried . Weeks most of the time , i buy the heads when MFS has their 40% off sale every few months.

Sounds like a plan! Buy in bulk...

I don't buy in bulk really , just a two pack which is ten heads , that last me quite awhile .

I've got a mixture of coils with different ohm ratings, 8 boxes, w 5 heads ea. If I see a sale, I might buy FOUR more boxes of 0.3ohm coils. I plan on getting in to rebuilding them, but I'll still need the parts if they cut us off in the future. I have FOUR - Aspire Atlantis IIs, and ONE - Triton v1. Would like to see the Triton v2 to see what I think of it. Should use the same coils. I also have spare tank glass, o-rings and seals

My next kit to try out as far as tanks go are SMOK.
