When you vape under 2 ohms (like the stock Nautilus coils) the battery needs to deliver much more amperage. When you vape a 1.8 ohm coil at 3.7 volts, that coil is pulling about 2 amps from the battery against its 2.5A limit. A 650mah eGo type battery is only capable of delivering .65 amps for an hour, so you can bet that the 650mah battery is straining to heat the coil and you aren't getting the vape you could with a more powerful battery. That's why you aren't seeing the clouds that others are getting from the Nautilus.
If you know someone who has an inline 510 voltmeter, you will probably find that you really aren't getting the voltage you are expecting due to heavy loading of the battery above 3.7v. Reviews of similar devices show that once you bump the 2.5 amp current limit of the Inferno it will backpedal the voltage and not allow the higher voltages despite the setting you select.
With a Nautilus you might want to look into variable mods that use 18650 batteries to get the best performance.
