After my first week of vaping I ran into a friend whom has also quit smoking with a vape. He seconded the recommendation to get an Aspire Nautilus and let me try his. Very smooth draw good flavor and can vape at much lower voltage than my Aspire BDC, or my PT3. The PT3 is just slightly below the Nautilus due to volume of vapor and tank capacity. Both the PT3 and the Nautilus are super easy fill and forget. Hope this helps those looking for a new tank.

I'd concur with all of the above. The only issue I've had with mime is that my coils are lasting all that long. Sometimes only a couple of days until a funky tastes starts to develop. I'm vaping a 50/50 mix, so I doubt it's getting clogged. I'm also typically at around 7 watts.

When the taste goes bad I pop in a new coil and dissect the old one. In every case, the old coils looked burnt. Anyone else experiencing this situation?

You're kidding, a couple of DAYS?! Wow! :(

What flavors are you vaping? That seems to me like you are vaping either dark or sweet (or both) juices which will cause that. Vaping unflavored/unadulterated 50/50 I've been on the same BDC coil for about a month--same with a menthol mix.. The sugars and any dark liquids will require almost daily soaking/cleaning according to what I've read but as I don't use them personally I can't verify this.

After buying God knows how many tanks, I'm thinking it's all a crap shoot. Everyone has their favorites but they work for some, not for others. My liquid supplier recommended an AeroTank and Ego Twist. I like the adjustable power capabilities and loved the tank for a couple weeks. Once the o-rings wore out and juice started leaking, I put in the other coil that came with it but it still leaked. Done everything I can think of but no success. Bought a lot of new coils but they weren't the long neck, even though the seller claimed they'd work, and had the same problem. Prior to this, I was using the vivi nova and had some success but burnt taste prompted a move. Since the aero leaked, I ordered the tank that fits all the replacement coils I bought so I'll see how that goes. Using the vivi with the twist and is a suitable guest tank until the new one arrives.
Problems I see are:
Top feed via wicks - burnt taste caused by liquid not being able to flow uphill fast enough to keep them saturated (damn gravity)
Bottom flow - as stated the piss poor o-rings supplied with the tanks go to hell in a couple weeks causing liquid to drain out and in to the inhale tube. Nothing like a mouthful of juice. I've used o-rings in industrial applications and while they may be made from different composites, two weeks is pitiful.
I have already spent a ton of cash on tanks and have my fingers crossed that some day I can find a system that is headache free but I'm not very convinced.

Iron, try washing the coil after every tank or two. Just rinse it under warm water, shake it, blow on it and stick it back in. You will probably get some hissing, etc during the first few hits but after that it should work fine. Just saying!!

It's funny that you should mention this. All flavors that I've tried in it have either been dark/less viscous or sweet/more viscous. Believe it or not, the sweet/more viscous fluids seems to create less of a problem.

I really like the Nautilus, it's a beautiful object but sadly I broke 3 tanks in one week, I have the bad habit to put my e-cig in the vertical position, when it's fall on it's side the tank broke... Now I got a ss tank from ebay no more problems but less beautiful object.

I use clear 70PG30VG liquid with a subtile tobacco flavour, after 6 or 7 tank the taste and vapour production is as good as first but I noted that the coil are dark I flush the coil under water put it back and 3 tank later it's still good.

I play with power setting a bit and I find 5 watts are the best for me, with less not enough vapour more some harsh hit...

Excuse my English it's not my natural language.

My friend that introduced me to vaping uses a layer of thick high speed tape to cushion the tank due to falls like yours. It is not very nice to look at but no more broken tanks.
