Aspire Nautilus. Junk?

I switched to the 1.8 ohm coil that came with it and it still flooded. Without even using it! Just from sitting there overnight. Turned it on today and went to take a light pull and fluid in my mouth. Yuck! Does leaving these sitting upright promote flooding??

Make sure the coil is completely seated in the base. Unscrewing the tank will loosen it and cause problems. When I put mine back together after a fill the mouthpiece,tank and tube are 1 unit, the base and coil are one unit. I screw the base and coil unit onto the tank and tube unit.

I found if I screw the coils onto the tube and then screw the base onto the coils....leaks and gurgles.

Sorry to hear you have problems. I had mine for about 2 months and not a single problem, my previous was a protank 3 and leak a lot.

I had the exact issues with the protank 3. I am the same way with my Nautilus. I am running it on an iTaste SVD at 9.0-10.0 watts and it runs great.

I've used my 3 Nautilus tanks now with my ProVaris for a couple of weeks with zero problems. However, I've only used the 1.8 ohm coils and haven't tried the 1.6 coils after reading comments by others who preferred the 1.8. So, I ordered five 1.8 coils, only to be sent 1.6 coils. Not sure if I should keep them or return them. If you've used the 1.6 coils, I would appreciate it if you could let me know your experience and preference between the coils.

I've enjoyed the Nautiluses so much that I now have three. Very rarely do I get a gurgle or flooding; I typically use the largest air hole.

4 Coils, about 120 ml of juice....

not single flood ever ... none.

First hit after a fill gurgles for like 2 seconds then clears out and stays clear until well below the 1ml line...

Taste is bested only be Gennies, Kayfuns, and drippers imho.

I had issues with the 1.6 coil after my first refill. I decided to screw it into the tube instead of the base, and the leaking went away. Doing it the proper way produced the leak for me.

I'm almost ready to try the 1.8 coil, but am a bit worried that it won't be the same as the 1.6 as far as vapor production. Mine came with the 1.6 already installed...that's why I started with it over the 1.8

Interesting reading, I've been wanting to check out a Nautilus but have 3 Kanger Aerotanks, 4 Protank II's, and 3 IClear 30S tanks, have had great luck with all three of these and not sure I want to get the Nautilus because I'd have to be yet another supply of different coils for a different tank. I'm thinking about skipping the Nautilus and just waiting for a Kanger Mega or pick up a nice rebuildable one, maybe do a kfun or something. Still undecided and am just mad chain vaping away and happy to be off the cigarettes.

Good info on this thread on the Nautilus, I'll probably pass on it.
