Ok I bought an aspire mini recently. Works fine with the 2 coils that comes with it but after I bought another BVC coil and put it on my tank it gives me a burnt taste and it barely produce some vapor. I thought the coil was defective so I used another one but still doing the same. I tried cleaning the whole tank with hot water and put the juice back and let it sit for about 20-30 mins but doesn't make any difference. And then I tried putting a little bit of the juice inside the coil and it did work for a while but I can't do that everytime (might as well get a dripper than this piece of ***p). Looks like the problem is it's not sucking juice inside? Idk. I'm out of clue to make this thing work. Has anyobody experienced this before with their aspire mini? Any experts that can help me? I'd greatly appreciate any help!

Edit: I'm using 1.8 ohms btw

Put a 3-4 drops of juice in the new coils, you only need to do this when you put in a new one. Next let it sit for a few minutes right side up to help soak up some juice and before you fire it up, take a few (maybe 10) puffs with the air vents on the lowest setting (most resistance) without pushing the button. This will help to "prime" the coil. After all of that you can set your air flow to how you like it, fire it up and hit it like normal until your next coil change. Some people will do a few "prime puffs" in the morning after it's been sitting all night but I haven't found that to be necessary. I've only had mine for about 5 days but that was what I was told to do when installing a new coil. Hope that helps.

Hmm I'll give it a try. I'll let you know whether it works or not. Thanks!

Btw when you said put 3-4 drops of juce in the new coils meaning inside the coils right? Or just inside the tank?

I was told the same thing and it worked great. Also to start about 1 volt lower and slowly increase to your normal voltage. This will help extend the life of your coil.

This pattern explained by Saltydogg should do the trick. If that technique does not work then I would have to contemplate on whether you either have defective or counterfeit coils.

Hope the solution works for you.

First of set your volts watts low real low second put juice bottle in warm cup of water now remove you mini from the mod check to make sure the floating pin is floating its what makes contact with your mod if pushed up in to bottom gasket stop ok if not stuck move on tank fill with warm juice add two drops to center to wet the wick put bottom back your tank now blow in to mouth peace to push juice in to the wick now give it a couple pulls with out pressing power pin hit power pin no more than 2 seconds then five no power pulls now power for no more than 2 seconds again even though you're getting juice most likely repeat the process a few more times then when you bring your voltage /wattage just bring it up slowly staying below six and a half watts or 3.5 volts until you see these are air bubbles inside the tank and on mine I don't throw any real power to it till I've vaped at least 1 mill of juice to that new coil

I had similar problems. Bought a MigCig SR72 Aspire Kit and didn't like the coils. Had the same problems and did everything correct like prime and stuff. Used 3 BVC and 2 BDC coils with 2 different tanks from MigCig and didn't like them at all. Burnt taste, airy draw, gurgling sound, eventual leakage and bad smoke production. For now I prefer to stick with my old Green Smoke ecig, but I'll keep making tests with different setups. Already bought other tanks with different kind of coils and resistances.
