Although Aspire has never accepted the potential harmful effect of ceramic wrappers I was concerned about my beloved nautilus mini. Kudos to Aspire they are now offering OOC heads. Picked them up today and was surprised that they look almost identical. Everything (the packaging, the heads themselves) look the same. Except for the juice intake holes, they are bigger now (new on the top).

I took both new and old apart and put to a "fire" test. The new definitely burns down (almost) while certain pieces from the previous head were intact.

As for the vape. May be it's all my imagination but flavour is cleaner with new organic cotton heads. Look forward to hearing your experience.

its been a week now with new aspire original cotton coils in my 2 large Nautilus tanks and 2 Nautilus mini tanks.
I thought the original bvc coils were great... but these newer occ coils with the 3 times larger holes
are absolutely 'Superb'...
these new OCC finally give me Vapor (taste/flavor) and huge clouds that are awesome.
I've never been a cloud chaser... but won't deny that these new Aspire occ send out a very thick cloud
without me having to use any type of mouth to lung inhaling.

bye the bye I'm using max vg ... and get the taste that that normally should
require a larger amount of PG that would normally be needed
to get the great taste I am no receiving.

The online shops are around 10$ for a 5 pack.

More expensive here in Toronto. Are you sure those are new, 100% cotton, version?

I just want to make sure that the new coils are worth it flavor/lasting wise.

Vape is really good. I compared both and like the new better. Not sure how long they will last, using it only for a few days, but I think they will last less than old with ceramic stuff.

Can someone verify that the new cotton wicks ONLY ship with enlarged holes?

I am fairly certain this is the case as the manufacturer determined that cotton NEEDED a better flow and thus the enlarged holes. I have a vendor who sent me the old coils claiming that they're new cotton just with small holes.

I'm waiting to see what they'll do before I dime them out but I'm really disappointed thus far how they've handled it. As of now though, they appear to be selling the old ones and specifically telling us that they're the new cotton ones. And leaving it at that.

If they don't refund, I'll be vocal about it.

Bummer reddog. I can verify that both of my new peakomizer tanks came with the enlarged holes as well as a new Naut mini I got a few weeks back. Also Sweet-vapes, which is advertising that they have the new coils, just sent me the enlarged holes 5-packs as well.

I can't be certain either, but I think it's pretty safe to assume the vendor is misinformed...at best. Definitely let us know if the dime needs to be dropped.
