Hi

I just received my aspire nautilus (full sized one) and I'm having some problems with it. Every time I take a draw its not smooth and quiet it makes a gurgling sound and sometimes spits liquid out. I've pulled it apart and cleaned everything twice, changed coils twice and changed e liquids twice. My mod is a sigelei zmax v5 and my juice is 50/50 vg/pg. I have a aspire nautilus mini and it has never had this problem, its never had any problem at all. What can I do? Thankyou

Sounds like your Nautilus is on the edge of being flooded.

Whenever you first sense that your atomizer is beginning to flood try this:

1. Open up the airflow so when you take a hit you are not pulling in as much juice into your coils.
2. Raise your voltage or wattage if your battery allows you to do this. This will vaporize more eliquid.
3. Tip your battery up (and take a few hits). By tipping it up you will prevent more eliquid from being fed into the coils.

Give one or all of these a try.:)

Turn the tank upside down and take a couple of puffs to clear the excess liquid. You may (will) get a bit of liquid on your lips or in your mouth when you do this. Once you've cleared the excess liquid try increasing your power (voltage or wattage depending on how your mod is set).

I was amazed as to how much power the new coils for my Nautilus took to get working properly. I'm running my 1.6 ohm coils at 19 watts. But at 19 watts I've had no gurgling ir bubbling, no dry hits, and no burnt flavor using the same coils for 3 weeks, despite vaping 5-6ml a day through them.

First thing I'd do is put a kitchen towel over the drip tip, then turn the whole thing upside down and flick it like you're trying to get the last drops of ketchup from a bottle.

Then I would go and look into the Silo Tank. It uses the same coils, but is just better in every single respect and has never gurgled at me, while the Nautilus Mini always did that.

I don't use the Nautilus but friends do. When they had the same problem they fixed it by topping it off and then taking a good hard draw on it while covering the airholes completely, causing a vacuum. This would seat all the seals tightly and allow a good vacuum to be formed in the system. No more leaks and gurgles.
