Aspire Nautilus Problems

I got the nautilus about two weeks ago, and for the first two or three days it was great. No bubbling, no dry hits, no leaking. Perfect. After that it's been all downhill. Started bubbling on day three, I realized if I used a bigger air hole it didn't bubble anymore. That worked for about a week. After that, I've been getting consistent dry hits, even on using a fresh coil. I let it sit for five to ten minutes every time I install a new coil, and the first hit and every hit after is always burnt. I'm vaping on 3.3 Watts. I've tried using all the air holes on a fresh coil and it's always burnt. Did I just get a bad pack of replacement coils or am I doing something wrong?

I have a Nautilus on order, arriving tomorrow... sure hope I don't have these problems! I use a very thin 85%PG juice. But I mainly ordered the Nautilus because with my new Sigelei zmax v3, if I use my T3S tanks, I get burnt taste out the wazoo... wanted something that could really USE that high power...

I heard great things about the Nautilus and I went to pick one up and they were out. Made an Impulse buy on a Kanger Aero Tank. I'm very new to vaping, so It seems like I'm spending money on things that I later realize I didn't need. I wish there was a guide to the best options to bypass all the crap! I know eventually I'm going to save $ right?

It looks like the Nautilus has been cloned. Have you tried to place a few drops of e liquid directly on the coil to prime it? It seems to work.

Just a technicality, but it has not been cloned--it's being counterfeited. Lots of people complaining that they are getting fake Aspire Nautilus tanks. The best way to verify if you've been duped is to go the website and verify the security code. If you're getting anything other than "Congratulations--you own an Aspire product" message, it's a fake.

Yes, you are going to save money, but you have to suffer just like we all have before you do. ;)

BTW, the Aero is a very nice tank, IMO.

Vaping at 3.3 WATTS?

Do you mean 3.3 volts? Most people vape the Nautilus at 8 watts MINIMUM and many push it to 10 watts or higher.

Yeah... Even 3.3 volts is too low, IMO. Those dual coils need a bit more oomph to do their job properly. At least 7-8 watts...

I got my Nautilus yesterday, and not entirely thrilled with it. Yes, it's genuine, I checked. I took my first hit on it at 7w, with it opened up all the way (the airflow)... got a burnt taste. The *only* way I can use the Nautilus with a sigelei and not get a burnt taste, is to use at 3-3.5v -- voltage. At the lowest wattage setting on the Sigelei, 6w, I get nothing but burnt taste, even with it completely open, which feels like sucking air thru a straw.

When I finally did get it to work without a burnt taste (at 3v), I went ahead and closed the airflow to the next one down, the one that's next-to-full; it gives a better taste, not so much air, but it starts off so cool you can barely tell you're getting anything, then it gets so hot it almost burns my lips. I finally took it off the Sigelei and put it on my eGo-C Twist; if I can only use it in voltage mode, to get it low enough powered, I may just as well use it on a device that only varies the voltage.

I may end up trying to trade this for something in the co-op. Not sure dual coils are right for me.
