If the coil is burnt...time to toss. Getting burnt is usually due to not getting enough juice and then the wick burns. I lowered the airflow from the biggest to the 2nd biggest to lower the air intake and increase the juice. Also, when initially filling, I cover the air hole and take 1-2 very short draws to get juice into the chamber and wick. It is possible to get to much juice in the coil and hear it gurgle when power is applied. I then fire the unit without taking a draw. It burns juice without pulling air or more juice.

Once the coil burns into a dry wick...

Works similarly on RTAs.

Its a bad coil the first 3 of them i used was like that and also when in wattage mode what ever your voltage is set to it doesnt matter it auto adjust the voltage to match the watts your trying to push and i also find that it performs the best around 9 or 10 watts without bein to warm well thats atleast on the svd i run it at 12 on the ivp3

Hey guys, quick question, I'm running a itaste svd with a Sony battery and I've had my aspire for two days, today it started to not fire up and now it taste burnt. I've changed my wattage from 15 to 5 still burnt taste. Even changed voltage to 3.3. Tank has a 2.0ohm ati. Any suggestions on getting the flavor back? Thanks

Before tossing, wash it with plenty running water, do a quick dry burn and try again. It's hard to burn the filling, but sometimes happens.

Is it a BVC? I usually prime it with a little liquid, give it some dry pulls and start low and work my way up the wattage. Freshly put, they don't wick well.

Could they already be burnt? It's only been in use for about 16 hours. I'll try tossing it and see they're only a couple of bucks anyways.

How thick is your liquid? How big the hole you're using? remember, smaller holes for denser liquids, avoids burning, bigger holes for lighter liquids, avoids flooding. Always start low on power and increase gradually. Also, pull softly, it'll allow liquid in more gradually.

It's really really thin juice for some reason. It's 36mg 100vg i have no airflow at the moment. Its firing consistently now, it's just giving dry hits and i have no idea why
In my experience vaping 100%VG is way to thick for it to wick propley 50/50 i found to be the best. It can handle 75%VG 25%PG but you cant go above the second-to-smallest hole and keep the watts under 12

I vape 50/50 in my non-Nautilus BVC coils. I tried 85 VG and it clogged up the coils within an hour of vaping, and I either got no flavor or a burnt taste even after I switched back to 50/50. I pretty much had the same problem as you, barely any airflow and a burnt taste. I didn't get any actual dry hits, but high VG seems to clog up the coils.
