For people with the older protanks, it makes sense for them to just by the aerotank BASE part alone, and effectively upgrade the old tank.

Makes a lot of sense... well shared difference between $5.99 for the base or
as stated if you like the style of the Aerotank $25.00.

Here's a video showing Rip Tripper's point of view regarding Aspire Nautilus vs Kanger Aero

Rip Trippers is not shy about his opinion is he? I happen to agree with him and with the Nautilus at $25.00 already it is certainly worth consideration as a new tank purchase. I don't want to get into the which is better argument, but I can say the Naultilus is a great, trouble free tank. I have also rebuilt 1 head, following Rip Trippers video, and it was easy and performs great. So for those that like to tinker with coils the expensive head argument doesn't apply. And I'm not an experienced builder. The Nautlius rebuild was my second coil build ever. So it's not something that requires a lot of experience.

I would like to hear from people having both tanks from 1 to 10 how the performance is on each tank, because most of the reviews I have seen on youtube don't give the aerotank too much credit, is like "well it's an ok vape but not spectacular" same thing I have heard on the PT3 and PT2 so what is the difference?

I haven't tried them yet, but aesthetically speaking I think the aerotank looks better than the nautilus, I don't like the size and the shape of the glass of the nautilus, the aerotank looks more "boxed" like high end RBA, also the 5ml capacity looks exagerated to me, 2.5 ml lasts 2 days for me (I'm not a chain vaper), so I don't want to have liquid sit for a week on a tank. but if the performance it's worth I would give it a try.

I purchased the Nautilus and the Aerotank at the same time. I have 2 iTaste MVP 2.0 so I was able to compare both side by side. Here's my opinion:
The Nautilus gives me a slightly warmer vape (which I actually don't like but I know many do) and it puts out slightly less vapor than the Aerotank when both were being operated at 5 volts. I also seem to get better flavor from my Aerotank. If you can't already tell, I like my Aerotank more. The Nautilus is great too but to me it isn't worth what I paid for it.

Also, to specify I used the same 50pg/50vg juice while comparing. I used both tanks at 5 volts and tried each with the airflow wide open as well as closed to the tightest draw possible. Here are my scaled 1-10 ratings:

Aerotank: Vapor production - 7.5, TH - 7.5, Flavor - 8.5

Nautilus: Vapor production - 7, TH - 9, flavor - 7

Also a side note: The Aerotank did not perform nearly as well with the heads it came with. Kanger redesigned the heads so that they wouldn't flood or gurgle, the improvement seemed to up the throat hit and flavor for me. If you buy the Aerotank make sure you buy the updated coils instead of the old ones!

Thank you very much!!

I also prefer a mild warm vape, and I am not a fan of harsh TH, flavor and consistency are the most for me.

I am another that does not have the Aerotank - I am sure it's a great tank. I am however, into my 5th day with the Naautilus and am thoroughly impressed. I'm not a "high voltage" vaper (not that there's anything wrong with that) - I vape everything at between 3.8 & 4.4 volts using the 1.6ohm head on the "nautty" and my RY4 is amazing using this atty.

I too was not sure how I felt about the "look" of the Nautilus at first but, like all things vape, if it performs then you soon realize you couldn't care less - at least that's how I am. :p

Anyways, that's my :2c: and it didn't cost ya a dime to get it :p

I have an Aero tank and nothing but problems with it. Floods, gurgles to where it's un vapable. Granted I having only been Vaping for 4 weeks now I do not have issues with any other tanks PT2, PT mini, I clearB.

It floods no matter what I do. I have Rebuilt coil with cotton, tried various stock coils and still the same. Floods every time. I changed all O rings and still floods. Maybe I got a bad one but don't see how it would not be fixable unless it's the design. l gave up and put the airflow valve on my PT2 and love it.

Anyone else have serious flooding issues with the Aero?

I have a Nautilus on the way also :)

I don't have any problems with flooding in use or transport with the Aerotank. The sealed 510 connection in combination with the airflow above it is really a leap forward I think. But in between uses I find that it gets flooded out and doesn't hit as well for quite a few minutes until I vape on it a bit. I suspect this could be minimized by remembering to turn the airflow to minimal or even more so by removing it from the device, taking off the drip tip and turning the thing upside down. Neither of these two things is likely to happen sadly.

Also, if you're flooding this device in use you may be dragging on it too hard, which is also likely if you've recently started vaping maybe, assuming you're trying to quit smoking. The Aerotank, probably because the maximum airflow is reduced by the sealed 510 connector, responds best to a slower draw I have found.

I bought the Aerotank, mainly for aesthetic reasons as it fits perfectly on the joyetech e-mode (exactly the same diameter).
Would like to try the nautilus as I like the other Aspire bdc I've tried, but the tank is way too big for my batteries...
Back to the Aerotank, I've found it the better kanger to date, good in vapor quantity and quality, construction quality is superb.

Got both myself. Just got the Aerotank yesterday and am vaping on it. Had the Nautilus for a couple of weeks. Liking them both so far. I did really like the Nautilus, except for the fact that the tank is friggin huge on it. Would be nice if they made a mini version. No problems with the Aerotank so far, and am still figuring out the "airflow" to get the best vape out of it.

I have both and the Nautilus is better but not by tons. I vape on both at 8 watts on an MVP2. They both have adjustable airflow so that's a plus for both. Both are bottom dual coil tanks, also a plus for both. The Nautilus holds nearly twice as much liquid and the vape is great. I just personally view the Aerotank just a tick below the Nautilus. Honestly, can't go wrong with either.

So far my aero tanks are working flawlessly very impressed, my nautilus tank the flavor is muted almost like using a carto tank....Flavor wise the aero is really close to my kayfun especially with a rebuilt cotton wick... Personally think the aero tank "look wise" wins hands down also IMO
