The Aspire Nautilus BDC is a hands down winner, the next best thing to an rba, if you don't want to build yet, but looking for a great vape, can't go wrong with the Nautilus. I bought one just to try out, I like it, vapes fine, doubt if I'll use it much, but can highly recommend it to a beginning or intermediate user. It is a glass tank, so if dropped it will likely break, but all things mad of glass are like that.

Mixed feeling here. Been using the Nautilus for since yesterday. Had constant gurgles, so had to keep opening up the airflow. Using the stock 1.6 ohm head, light colored 50/50 juice, 10 watts, and changing my battery at 3.5 to keep consistent power from my Vamo V5. I know the Vamo does it for me all the way to dead, but I am trying different things out to isolate the issue.

It's now starting to work like a dream. Now the tank is at just under 3ml level. I still get gurgles if I close up any airflow, but the vapor production and flavor are becoming better. In comparison to my PT2 with Aero base on it... I think I actually like the PT2 better. I still don't have the Nautilus "broke" in though, so I'll keep tooting and see how it goes.

Bottom line at the moment of this post... I'm glad I got this for a super duper steal of a great deal, cause it's way over priced for the performance I am getting right now.

I'm burning a bowl of Gen 7 in mine on a VAMO V5 set at 8 watts with a 1.8 ohm head in it. I'm not getting any gurgling at all now. I did at first as well as some of the juice in my mouth. I opened it, removed the atomizer and found it wasn't in all the way. Dried it then put it back in tighter and no more problems at all. I set the air flow on this one to the 1.4mm. The only sound I hear is the sound heard when firing it. I've had mine now going on 3 weeks and have swapped between the 1.8 head and the 1.6 when I change juices.

I'll give that try on mine. I did tear everything down for a good cleaning before use. I'd love to hit lower watts and get the vapor production I get on 10. I dramatically loose my vapor production when I do though. Every other tank I run I never go over 6.5 watts and it works amazing for me. I enjoy a cooler vape myself though.

I have the Aerotank and its great and works like a charm, i think the airflow ring threads could be alil tighter, but other then that its puts out great flavor, but im always up to trying new tanks so i think im gonna add the Nautilus to my arsenal, see if i can find a good deal on one, Thanks for all your input on this, Ill let you know what i think of it..stay tuned and always, VAPE ON!!!:vapor:

I really enjoy my Aspire Nautilus. I did have a gurgling problem but cleaned it out....made sure the connections were tight and ran a pipe cleaner ( circular motion ) down the shaft to make sure there wasn't any e-liquid in the shaft. Since then there has been no problem and have now have a 2nd one for back up. Also holds 5ml of e-liquid.

As for for rebuilding the Aspire Nautilus....

You could try some green Loctite. That's what I would do if I bought an Aerotank.

Personally, I ordered a Nautilus because every reviewer states that it's HANDS DOWN the best clearomizer/glassomizer out there yet. I also saw a replacement stainless steel tank on ebay today for it -- Aspire Nautilus Replacement Tank Stainless Steel | eBay ....

But anyway, I don't think I'll be carrying the Nautilus around town with me. I will probably end up getting some type of ego-style battery and tack a Mini Protank 2 w/ Aerotank base on it. Most reviews tend to say that the single coil Protank heads work better than the dual coil PT heads, due to the ......ed dual coil design they chose to use..... Sooo... yea.

The correct answer is get both. You can get a Mini PT2 for like $13 on ebay, plus $6 + s&h for the Aerotank Base.... so you start out with a more portable tank, an extra base for emergency scenarios (or to sell?), and the "better" single coil heads.

Well, in my opinion, the PTs are better for rebuilding, so I'd go with them.

They're easier to rebuild, imho, as you don't have to fiddle with taking out the wick from the long chamber, hoping your legs stay in tact, that you don't pull out the cartomiser-like "inner-lining", etc. With the PTs, you can just tweaser out the cotton, dry burn, and replace.

Additionally, re: rebuilding, that cartomiser-like "inner-lining" that holds juice, so you're stuck with that head if you're switching juice. On the PTs, you can empty the juice, take out the wick, dry burn, replace wick, and you're good to go with a new flavour - all while keeping the same head and without touching the coil.

Just my two pence.
