After acquiring specific help from the Veterans here I ordered an Aspire Nautilus BVC Airtank. Got it 2 days later, yesterday in fact and am very disappointed with it.

Do not get me wrong here as the product does have an excellent review, I am impressed with it, what an awesome tank and design, but after a few hours of use the liquid started seeping into the mouth tube and I also found a small pool of liquid in the base below the coil. This is why I am disappointed with it, every product I have purchased all from reputable companies have basically been rubbish. Most of them have worked fine till I replace the coils purchased from the same companies, then the leaking starts. With the Innokin coils again they leak and seep onto the battery. I know that I am not doing anything wrong, I just order the coils and get rubbish. This Nautilus airtank is the first product that was faulty on first use.

Believe it or not I am now starting to think smoking the real ones is cheaper than everything I have used over the past year and a half as a vaper.
Main reason is If I buy another tank will that be ok especially after replacing the coil?

The tank came from Vapertech via Amazon whom I have never had a problem with before, and I have used Amazon for many years. So I now have to get the returns label printed and return to Amazon for a full refund, at least that is a bonus. I have 2 Innokin tanks the Gladious Airflow which is expensive to use having to refill 3-4 times a day and so far have never bought coils for this yet but it does need one, and the X1 which seeps.

Truth to tell is that when the products arrive they are excellent with the installed coil and spare, it is each time I buy a coil that the leaking occurs.

Well I am now asking if anyone here know where I can buy replacement coils from for the X1, coils that do not leak or seep? You guys are my last option with all your combined experience and knowledge as vapers.

I am even starting to reduce the nicotine content in the liquids from 18mg down to 12mg as a start to become nicotine free.

Many thanks

I have 2 full size Nautilus and 3 minis. While I question the material they use in the coils I love the flavor and vapor the Nauts give. I have never had a problem with my minis, but the full size ones were a mess for me. I really wanted the full size ones to work because they hold twice the liquid and I have some long days, which means I brought 2 minis to work with me.
The full size Nauts would work fine for a couple of days then start leaking or the coil would flood. I finally figured out "my" problem with the full size Nauts... my chimneys seemed to be bent ever so slightly and they weren't sitting flush. I replaced the tanks with the stained glass looking replacement tanks and they have been working like champs.

Like I said this is my first Nautilus, I do not remember what VG and PG stands for, I was using the first air opening, yes I did ensure the coil was screwed down properly as that is one of the things I found about here and in other forums, with this tank I was using 3.0 v, no I have not tried the spare coil.

Am trying the spare now, will see if this sorts the problem out, but in either case both coils should work perfectly, not 1 work the other don't

Once in a while a coil is assembled in a way that allow the fluid to leak through. They do their best to avoid this. I've had one bad coil on another device. PG and VG are ingrediants in your liguqid. The percentage of each should be displayed. If the liquid is not thick enough it can pass through the wick and be a source of leaking. If the air draw is too tight you can pull liquid into the chimney by creating too much vacuum then it can be drawn upwards or drain downwards.

My only grip with my N minis is the coils need replacing more often than I'd like but I prefer the vapor and flavor I get. Eventually I may learn to rebuild those coils.

Ok thank sofarsogood, the liquids I have seem pretty thin so that could very well be the problem, there is no PG vs VG percentage on the bottles I have unless I am missing something. However I did recently buy 3 new bottles at 12mg nicotine and on the front of the bottles they all state 1.2%. Comparing the last bottle I have from Magnificig with the new bottles the newer ones do seem a little thicker. So what percentage is appropriate for ecigs? And how do I know what to look for when buying liquids? Will some one who uses thick liquids please supply me a link or name of store where I can buy thicker liquids from?

Just as an afterthought the X1 and other tanks I have had did not leak or seep with the supplied coils only after buying and replacing them, using the same liquids I have always used.

And many thanks for all your help in this matter.
