No soap! Not unless you want to rinse the coil about 2,845 times or something.

Try a 30 minute boil in plain tap water, then rinse and let it air dry, or place it in front of a fan to let it dry overnight.

Make sure you prime your coil before using it the first time or after cleaning.

I will look at the vape you said and try and get a new coil for it tomorrow. I really appreciate you taking your time to look up about it. I’m really new to vaping so learning as much as I can from this post!
Welcome and glad you joined.
Hope the suggestions work out.
Since vaping is totally scalable, the choice you have can be overwhelming. The main thing to remember is, part of vaping is all about you the vaper, being in control and the freedom to fix/tailor any aspect of vaping you feel you need to improve upon. If you find that the solutions above do not fix your problem, please re post and reference this thread: Aspire pocketx burning throat

My apologies but I have to disagree here. It’s perfectly safe to wash all parts of your tank in soapy water. Obviously, not the coil. As long as you rinse very well, you’ll have zero issues and there will be no need to rinse your coil 2,845 times... Unless you also try washing your coil with soap, in which case I’d toss it and forget trying to rinse it out. I truly mean no disrespect. Myself and quite a few others have been doing this for too long to be told we can’t now. Apologies if I misunderstood!

I think you did misunderstand, but that's ok.

Washing out the tank with soapy water is fine. I do it, too.

Getting soap in the coil head is a bad idea. Unless you rinse it 2,845 times. ;)

I had the same problem then i brought a new class for my pockex and it worked for me, sometimes if you drop a pockex and it gets a tiny scratch on the class, that you sometimes dont notice, u need to trow the glass in the trash and replace it with a new one, another idea if it dont work, u could always go down on nic, maybe 6 mg, or u could have pg allergy and need higher VG it could be many factors playing in why it burns in ur throat, better try different methods, I wish it works out for you, best of luck and take care <CatNoir>
