Astro Mod Size with kick and batteries?

Hi all, first post here but I've been lurking for a while. I've been vaping for 6 months now and I'm finally stepping into Mech Mod territory. I already build my own coils etc and understand battery safety and want something nicer for my kayfun's. Don't think I'll be going sub ohm. I've ordered up a Astro clone from FT but hoping someone can clarify something for me. With an AW IMR 18490 and kick do you have to telescope the mod, or will it fit with the extra bottom ring in place? Hoping I don't have to go into telescope mode while out and about. Any pictures would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Sorry no pictures, I don't have an Astro clone, but using an AW IMR 18490 and kick is going to be approximately the same length as using the average 18650 battery or a few mm shorter. So if you need the telescope mode to fit a 18650, then, bad news...

yes the astro fits batteries that are 350/490/650, with each battery size you will need to adjust out the telescopic piece(making it larger). when adding a kick you will be opening it to the next size up, to fit the battery and kick. so a 490 or 500 would be at the 650 size with a kick.
