Tried to find some juice locally today. I don't know if anyone here is familiar with JR cigar, but its a huge outlet, specializing in tobacco products. I decide to cruise over there on my scoot after looking on their site to see if they carried any e-cig stuff in case I ever need to drive over and pick anything up in an emergency. Unfortunately, no liquid. Just blu and smoke stik kits, as well as one other brand I forgot the name of. When I asked her if they sold any 510 compatible stuff she was confused. Told me I should purchase a Blu. "It's the second best one on the market" Not sure who she claims is the first. Anyways, like I said in the title, at least I found some sweet goggles in there to wear while I'm scooting about town!

T-bag... rabid wolverine... PCP.... They had disclaimers on the cases that they were warranteed by some semi local vendor, not JR Cigar. Guess he/she had the staff pretty convinced because I could tell that the girl trying to sell it to me was 100% convinced that what she was saying was true and that she was giving me some vital info I had sadly missed out on. It put a large grin on my face. The kind you get when fighting back laughter in an attempt to mind your manners. I guess I could always pick up some blue cartos in a bind though, if it meant avoiding anologs.

JR obviously doesn't know anything about vaping, but it is the bomb for those that want to buy good quality cigars. Spent a lot of time on their web site and a lot of my cash there before I started vaping. I still have a good stock of Hoyo de Monterey and Romeo y Julietas in my humidor Very occasionally, I still like to sit on the front porch with a fine beverage, a good book and a comfortable chair and enjoy a fine double corona. There really is no substitute for a fine hand rolled stogie.

I too spent wads of cash at JR, I have hundreds of cigars....and have only smoked two in the last year and a half! Lifetime supply lol! now I buy juice and have tons of that.
I have a problem...

This is one post I hoped had a happy ending since I'm right at a stone's throw from JR's Tobacco on I95. :(

I have only been this low on e-liquid (premixed kind) about 2x in over 2 and 1/2 years! I'll be attacking the mail-lady for the next day or so until my order from MFS arrives! Thankfully, I'm a close friend with the mail-lady though. She and I used to work together in the data entry dept of a large corporation; we lost contact w/each other when the lay-offs hit but found each other again at the karting race track where her son raced in the Rookie Class and her late husband raced in the limited light heavy class.

Her husband was truly missed at the track & I think they had a ceremony for him after his death/for his family as well as his friends, which included everyone who ran the track, the other drivers, pit crews (I was in the pit crew b4 my vision tanked), and even the spectators. He was a kind, funny, and courageous man that his children can be proud of for the rest of their lives. I don't know how she's held it together all these yrs but she's done well. I know you have to be strong for your children so that's likely what it was - staying strong for their kids.

Wish me luck that my e-liquid holds out...I have the makings to make it but it never turns out that great and certainly never comes close to MFS' liquids. :) It's been tighter than usual fiances here of late. I only hope I can keep us afloat until DH gets his disability through... Proverbially crossing my fingers...

I'd have said the same thing. LOL! That's a lot for a 10ml bottle.

Update: Mine arrived on Saturday 9/24, which is ironic given that it's one month short of our oldest daughter's 1st wedding anniversary! They have their anniversary next month on the 24th & I hope many more to come afterward. The date was moved up a year after my husband suffered 2 heart attacks that required a quad heart bypass and then 5 days after her wedding day, I had to undergo surgery to remove 2 cysts from one breast that the surgeon thought could be cancerous. Thankfully, it was benign - this time. I have others now that need checking too along with possible surgery. I just don't want it so close to a special occasion as it was with her wedding. I asked for that week, no more time, just one week and I would be there. She was married on a Sunday and I was in surgery that Friday. The tests came back as benign so I missed the breast cancer bullet this time at least. I hope my luck holds out. But I digress...

I just thought it was an odd sense of fate that it arrived on the exact date, one month shy of my oldest daughter's first year anniversary with what I hope are many more to come.

Thanks for letting me rant a bit. :)

I have a local smoke shop that sells e-liquid. The only problem is it is some strange brand and they want 12 bucks for a tiny 10ml bottle! I just smiled and said, "Thanks anyway!" On the bright side, I DO have a place to go if I ever run completely out.

Goodness gracious, where on earth in beaumont? There used to be a smoking everywhere kiosk at the mall that I bought juice from in a pinch, 20 bucks for a30 ml bottle, but I think they closed down.

Yeah, the mall shop closed down. The smoke shop is on 11th street across from Sunrise. The juice is high, but I've heard he said he would match online prices. I haven't tried because the one bottle I got is rather nasty (honey flavor) and I have NO idea what brand it is. I will just make sure I never run low and stick with my internet suppliers. :) There is also a tiny shop on College near Major that also sells the same brand of overpriced juice.
