I've been successfully using my J-Tank for about a week now, absolutely no leaking at all with a Boge carto, probably because this tank is known to be a very tight fit compared to others (I gotta lube up the carto with juice to have any chance of pushing it through the holes initially, otherwise it might damage the rings and cause leaks).
As for my success with juices, well 100% VG is a bit difficult, as it requires a lot more heavy dry-pulls to get the liquid into the carto when the hits start to become dry (using two holes). But a dry pull every now and then is a lot easier than filling a carto drip by drip and Taryn spinning then the cleanup/blow-out afterward.
However I filled my tank last night with some Malibu from Halo, not sure of the PG/VG ratio, but its fairly thin and with two holes in the carto I hardly ever had to dry pull to get liquid in the carto (and when I did need to dry pull, it sucked into the carto and gave me bubbles with one only or two relatively hard-ish pulls vs heavily pulling 6-7 times with 100% VG to get bubbles).
Even with 2 holes and some pretty thin juice, I haven't had any problems with flooding or gurgling with my Malibu. So the tank is working out great for me. Not sure how different the J-Tank is compared to the other ones you mentioned, but it may be worth a try as its one of the cheaper tanks out there ($20). Its got one heck of a grip though, as once you get it installed and let juice in the o-rings settler for a few hours, those seals make for a seriously tight fit! I can screw on a tank to my battery while holding the tube and the tank doesn't even spin once I start to crank down hard on the tightening. From what I read, other tanks out there spin if you try to do this.
And dry-pulling is a must for tanks, originally I wasn't having much success with my tank until I learned about that valuable technique! If I want a really wet hit, just suck in a few times, watch for bubbles, and I am golden!
