I'm looking to start DIY and I want to start small. I am having trouble finding ingredients for a good price. Where do you get your PG/VG, nic and flavorings.

Flavours either direct from TPA or Flavourfog, PG/VG, almost anywhere online. Some may sneer but I've obtained very good nic from China (Novoliq. Never a problem, good quality and price.)
