Hi vapers,

Recently I purchased my Atlantis v2 after shattering my v1. The tank is awesome but I'm struggling to find the right wattage configurations to use. I'm using the same 0.5ohm replacement coils that I used with my v1 however, I noticed that now my coil is starting to burn and my juice is turning orange. I was vaping previously between 28-33 watts with the same coils. Now with the Atlantis v2, I'm dropping my wattage to 18 watts to prevent the burning Surprisingly, the vape hits a lot nicer now. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks in advance!

I am still using 3 Atlantis v1's on the D2 as well as 3 other mods and have found myself dropping the wattage down as well, although I haven't gone down to 18 watts yet. Mostly from 32W to 28W, but don't stay on one tanks for more then a couple hours. Been wondering myself if there has been a change in the coils.

ETA: Almost forgot - Welcome to ECF :vapor:

I must have had a senior moment when I thought you mentioned using the IPV D2, must have been on the previous thread I read. Having more then one tank works nicely should you want to change flavors frequently. I rotate 10 tanks and a dripper and will normally change tanks/flavor 5 or more times a day, but that's just me. Not sure what mod you are using, but if you have some flexibility with it, I would suggest getting something different for that second tank and see if there is something there you like better. And again, just my opinion, but there are flavors I really like in the Atlantis that just don't work as well in one of my TFV4's or others. That's why I am still using the Atlantis tanks.

DOH! Sucks when you are wrong when you just think you are wrong!

.5ohm 18Watts

You Must switch to TC/NI mode, set to 18J and Temp to max.
Set(lock) Resistance
D2 Will operate at 18 watts without controlling temperature.

D2 will not step down far enough in VW Mode.

Good luck
:)

Thanks for that info. Stumbled on that other thread after posting here and looking forward to trying that although I mostly use the D2 with a Ni200 setup.
