Ive been using the aspire atlantis for the past 6mths now and have been considering getting the kanger subtank mini. I've been having problems with the coils lasting and have noticed juice starting to leak from the base. Sometimes the coils would last a week + but then other times im changing them every few days. Any advice on the atlantis vs mini?

Just me, I have never had a consistently decent vape from any Kanger delivery device, until the subtank using the included rba/rta deck.
If you will use the rba/rta piece I would recommend the subtank.

IMO, the subtank replacement heads are not as consistent or 'better' than the Atlantis.
I haven't had any problems with the atlantis heads I've used and have yet to find any other replacement head last as long.

IMO it really depends on 2 things, do you prefer a more wet flavorful vape (subtank) or a dryer vape with a lighter flavor (atlantis), secondly do you like to build coils, or is that something you want to try, the subtank has a rba section in it so you can make your own coils and experiment with that. in my opinion the subtank is better, i have owned both, and know many people with both. as for coils maybe its the juice your using some juices clog coils up, darker juices i find have a tendency to ruin coils in my experience.

The only real way to get away from replacing coils too often is to build your own. Even when it needs it, you can often just rewick and keep vaping the same coil. The Kanger tank would let you get into the idea slowly, and still be usable if you decided you didn't want to. If you want to try a strictly rebuildable tank, I'd recommend the Lemo2 as being very versatile-- it can be built to suit any style of vaping--and easy to use. It's also single coil so you don't have to try to balance duals right at first. Another good idea is to buy a cheap clone RDA and practice on that. RDAs are generally a lot easier to build as the deck is bigger. One caveat, though: building coils can get you into trouble, although this is less likely if you are using a regulated mod. There are important safety considerations you should learn before attempting it. A good way to start would be to watch some You Tube videos of people building.

I would suggest that you learn how to rebuild.

Learn vti wrap your coils and learn how to wick them. And you will say goodbye to premade coils FOREVER.

So get the Subtank mini and learn to build on the RBA. Then consider upgrading to an RTA. I use the Silverplay Nano and the Goblin Mini both are real flavor chasers.
