... ah yes please forgive me, I was on my first cup of Java when I replied, at least you had the proper author LOL. That was burried in God knows which thread, but...
302 = Decent VP, good flavour, wetter/cooler vape, mild TH
801 = Good VP, Good flavour, cooler vape and mild TH
510 = Good VP, subdued flavour, warmer vape and good TH
901 = Good VP, Good flavour, warm vape and good TH
306 = Good VP, great flavour, hot vape and great TH
Once upon a time not too long ago all they had were 801s, 302s, 901s with resistances around 3Ohm. They were good atomisers with the 901 being preferred because of its vapability. Then along comes the 510

and place other atties on the back burner. It toted a resistance of 2.2Ohms, which in those days was the first LR to hit the streets and hence why the 510 is so popular. It is the atomiser that got me completely off analogs in one day.
The 306 was around as well but because of its size and small carts it was using, lost in favour of the larger carts out there. Then along came the 306 to drip and well we know the story on that one. I called it the long lost gem.
IMO the best atty to use as a beginner is the 510, it will get you there. Once freed from withdrawal symptoms, then by all means try something different. IMO you will appreciate them more. As many I started with a 2 part system, but it would not satisfy my cravings, the 510 did. All of the aforementioned atties have a place in my arsenal and I frequently rotate between them and cartos depending on what type of mood I am in. I am not a fan of LR atties perse, I prefer a 2.5 at 5V over an LR @ 3.7V, but that is just me. I prefer
vaping at 7 watts, then again that is just me. Being Canadian also plays a part in
vaping. Canadian cigarettes were much milder than their US counterparts, which I enjoyed occasionally, but always preferred the milder side compared to the reckless TH they provided. That is also perhaps why many seek reckless THs. I am now at 12mg pure VG liquids and the thump is there, which I prefer over a mule kick

I hope this helps.
