Atom in the UFS

Some atoms, also with totally open liquid, have two holes near the threads completely covered by connector, some other 3/4 covered, some other have two holes uncovered.
Is it always the same, doesn't it matter?

connector has 4 cuts at 1,5 mm depth so its impossible holes of the atty to be covered my friend baddao. Some atomizers are airy and some tight. Adjust air and liquid and you will be ok. Maybe you will need some times to refill atomizer by open - close the cap or by closing CR and taking primary inhales, or blow and suck air 3-4 times without touching CR or LC (liquid control), or by keeping the mouthpiece not very tight, or vaping with CR at only 1/4 of a turn open. There are too many ways to control the atty.

I've been using the EM low resistance. May swap out with a Joye LR next time juice runs out to compare. I don't seem to be as sensitive to the subtleties that everyone else seems to notice though which is why I switched to the cheapest attys I could find.

I cant read or post on the "UFS tricks" on Italian forum baddao my friend. But I will try to explain here. The connector has 4 cuts, 1,5mm deep. There are no threads inside connector but only after 1,5 mm. That means that if atomizer holes are after 1,5mm from its base then yes this atomizer couldnt vape. But there is no atomizer with its holes after 1,5mm from its base.

I just been using regular joye510s and they vape great, I havent tried anything but standard resistance at 6 volts....

I'll have to get around to trying some LR 510s out....

But let me tell ya something, This UFS is leaps infront of the last AVS as far as performance, I think being able to adjust juice as well as air flow helps a lot.

I'm using SLB 4,2 ohm at 7,4 2x18350 IMR, they work without problems.

Trying out a Joye LR510/18650 combo right now, hits great!

I did have some issues with some generic 2.0 LR510's a few days back. The center post on every one was really indented. You could pull it out some for better contact, carefully.. but it wouldn't stay. They didn't hit consistently in the UFS without really cranking the telescope down or removing the o ring right above the battery end of the center pin (and that seemed important to keep where it was...) Other than that, every other 510 I've thrown at it has worked very very well.

BTW- baddao, love the avatar. I saw Tom in St. Louis 2 years back, best show I've ever been to!

He is one of my favourite artist since i was child, i saw him three years ago in Milano, i was very lucky couse it was a very inusual case, he came in Italy only three times.

Ah, I think I have a bootleg of that show! Great stuff, really glad you got a chance to see him. A Tom Waits tour is rare in itself, but in Italy even more so.
I'm enjoying "orphans" and my UFS right now. Just switched to a standard joye at 6V and liking it, tho I haven't done 7.4 yet..

Cisco 1.5 works just fine.

I'm using Joye 1.5 LR atomizer, but wondering about the Cisco. I read somewhere that they fit the 510 connection, but they're either narrower or shorter/longer. Do you need to make any adjustment to use with the UFS? Are the Cisco 510s an 'exposed bridge' atomizer?

Nope, the Cisco LR510s are just the same size/design as your joyes AFAIK. I have reg. joyes and cisco LR1.5s, both have performed very well for me in the UFS.
The Cisco LR306 attys have a 510 connection and have the exposed bridge/are narrower and shorter, but the Cisco 510's are just like the ones you're used to!
Apparently you can use the 306s in the UFS as well with an old 510 atty sleeve and a little trimming, but I've been so happy with 510s suddenly I haven't tried them yet..

I'm waiting on some Cisco LR 1.5 510's to arrive to really compare the different voltages but I have tried the EM LR 1.7 at 6.4v and preferred the Joye 5 ohm HV at 7.4v though you have to fully open the juice control and nearly close the air control to avoid burning

That's right, I remember seeing that you got one, congrats man, well worth it!
I like 6V with a standard joye or 3.5ohm IKV on the UFS if I had to choose, but it's just a great vape no matter config. you enjoy, half the fun is trying the different attys out..
I use the joye HV6 attys (mine read around 5.5 ohms) at 7.4V too, for when I need that extra oomph in my vapin'. Only in moderation for me though, cuz wowit really kicks.
