Hi all, yesterday I got my first ufs and I had an still have an unconventional problem, well at least from what I read in other threads. I usually read the problem was flooding the atomizer but in my case it's exactly the opposite, even with the juice all the way open I always have a burned taste, I can't find a way to get the juice in the atty. I'm currently vaping at 6 volts. Could this be a problem? Is the UFS inadvisable to be used at 6 volts with high resistance atomizers? The fact is that even if I suck without turning on the atty the juice doesn't seem to get in, airflow all the way open and same thing for the juice. I even changed atomizer but the problem persists, I really have no clue at this point.

Please post what kind of atomizer you are using and what kind of liquid. So if you empty the tank, and pull your atty out, if you blow it out... Is any liquid coming out? Can you post a picture of the connection the ato mates to? Do your atomizers have side holes in the threads (if using 510)?

I use a 1.5Ω Joye atomizer, with PG. My goto setup is 1/8 - 1/4 turn air control and 1/4 turn liquid control. I take a very easy primer inhale, then vape for a while. It will start to taste just slightly off, and I take another very easy primer inhale. I try to be careful to NOT flood it. It is easy to tell if I am running to dry, as taste is off, and the atty will continue to sizzle for a second after releasing power button. I have had LRJoye running a clean PG Tobac flavor through it for over a month without cleaning, and I have had them last 2 days... But once I have a good one, I know it.

I have tried other setups. LR901 with an adapter worked well. Boge cartomizer worked well for about 3 days. CE2 was OK - for a CE2. I also tried 100% vg in it with LR510. I found this hard to get right. It would be dry so I would open liquid, and finally get it where I thought it was right. Then it would flood. It was a pita, I believe because the VG was thinning with the heat from the atomizer.

Each atomizer and each liquid will have a sweet spot for your likings. I even find a slight difference between same brand atos.

I'm using a high voltage 510 atomizer. It has one hole just above the threads. The connection appears to be right, I didn't have leaking issues. The liquid can come in because the first time I filled the tank I forgot to keep the control ring open so by closing the top cap the pressure pushed a ton of liquid in the atty flooding it to the top. I also used a thin juice, 70% PG, 30%VG. My problem is not about running dry, opening the juice and then flooding, my problem is no matter how much I open the juice, even if it's fully open the liquid doesn't flow in the atomizer and I have amazing clouds of burning vapour. :D

Close the air ring and open the liquid control ring all the way and suck hard -- it will get the vacuum working better and the juice should flow better then. Then just open the air ring a half turn and vape but you might need to close the liquid control up some, this is a learned tank and it'll take a couple days until what you do is old hat and there are no issues. Also, it has been found that not all of the cheaper attys (boge, kanger, GH1) are inconsistent with their hole placement et al and sometimes they don't line up correctly.......

@ Finger82 ->I closed the juice than unscrewed the top cap, I already did this but like the previous times I probably did it wrong because I unscrewed it completely. This didn't just unscrew the atomizer so that when I removed the bottom cap the unscrewed atty came with it, but of course all the juice went straight down into the collector tank... should I just unscrew it slightly back and forth?
@RippleInStillWater -> Before doing the mess I've just described I tried doing what you said and it worked, the juice finally could flow in the atty.
@ Imeo -> I screwd the top cap a bit even when it contacted the o-ring. I'll try to stop as soon as it contacts the o-ring.
Thank you all!!! I'll keep in mind the atomizer variable, but 6 volts vaping with high resistance attys + UFS is still possible right?

also, if you put vaseline to the top o-ring and if you dont screw the small cap hard will make you avoid the unscrewing atty thing Gas:).

guys, dont forget to put vaseline to all o-rings. Its not a GG issue, its an issue that includes all mods that use o-rings. And all tanks have o-rings because thats the way we seal liquid.
