Atomatic 901 Battery failure

I asked this in the ask the expert thread, but don't see it there...

My DSE 901 batteries keep going bad. Like the light will light up, and then blink as if I was vaping - but this is even when it is disconnected from the rest of the e cig. I've had 3 batteries do this to me within the last 2 days. Am I doing something wrong. Is there a way to care for the batteries without them going bad after only 1/2 to 1 month of having them, or is that the shelf life for them?

I find that if I tap the light area really hard it will light up and I can vape, but it won't shut off once I stop...

Maybe I'm not taking good care of my batteries, I just don't know. I just bought 5 more, so hopefully I can get another couple weeks off of the 3 that I have left that are working!

One of the main reasons that many people don't like auto batteries is that juice can leak into the hole at the top and mess up the auto switch. It sounds like this might have happened to yours.

Candre23 has it right , keep the connector CLEAN all the time on the atty and the battery.
I have fixed some by using rubbing alcohol but it's not very consistant. ( make sure the battery is dry after cleaning ! )
