In a house.
I just use a small towel on the end of the black atomizer, seems to grip it ok. The carts do turn in the atomizers, I have only genuine Janty carts and some dont even hold in to the atomizer. There is clearly some manufacturing variance on them.
I still feel that holding the cart and twisting it is a bad idea. I dont want wool getting caught up in my atomizer and melting, polyester fumes aren't something I want to be inhaling.
Janty should include an atomizer tool, like a mini version of the things you can get to open tight jar lids.

It's not just that frog, it's also possible to break the coil as well as someone has already found. (i.e Any Atomiser)
I remember reading it a couple of months ago. I think it was in the Tip's and Trick's Section.
btw scylla.... RN-4072's won't fit either. So that's two different Generics which won't fit.
I have a New Janty Atomiser which i bought as a spare but i'm scared to put it into the Stick now in case it does'nt screw in. The original took me about an hour to get out with kitchen towel and swearing.
I wonder if the original Atomiser is put in during manufacturing by machine and then the case sealed round it ?
Obviously most seem to be o.k but mine certainly is'nt. :(

I don't know what specific make the "Classic" I've got is - I bought a kit from Bob's Your Uncle on eBay and when the batteries failed immediately I discovered he was selling them for someone else and didn't have back-up stocks. (That's what he said, anyway :( )

However, I ordered a TAWA in titanium* yesterday from {{{{{{{{{Toby}}}}}}}}} and it arrived today and it fits much, much more easily and is vaping quite well. I'm not going overboard yet, I've had so many disappointments ;)

*Thanks to Christena's advice.

At the end of the day, its often cheaper to buy dearer.

I found the Titanium one to be perfect, and havent had a problem since I fitted it. Yes I suppose we run the same risk that it could go tomorrow, but if it does, I will simply buy another one.

Toby has shown me a style of Customer Service that is A1, so from now on, Im staying put with Toby. Hence Im helping him out here.

His isnt a big business, he cant afford to pay for returns postage and stuff like that, but from little acorns Oaks do grow.... so I for one am going to help this particular acorn along.

If that makes me a fangirl...lol, then so be it, but at least I have the satisfaction of knowing that this supplier has earned his fan club !

Must admit I was thinking of a Kiss Box. Although I found it took me ages to get used to the Penstyle atomiser. I think I still prefer the one on the 510.

But when Ludo comes up with the new adapters I will be sorted, or totally used to the penstyle by then.

Scylla, my comment was by no means meant as a criticism, I admit I didnt use iVapour a great deal before ordering my JS. I spent a lot of money, like so many people with sites that didnt back their products and I wont deal with them again..

iVapour have treated me well, as have Intellicig and e-cigs.co.uk... so I speak as I find.

You know you are right, it is hot, and I have cat flu... me that is,not the cats...lol. I got up early, fed all the animals and went back to bed, havent done that in years. then got up again about half eleven, and have just sat here in my nightie, ever since.

Have re fed the animals, gave Ron a sandwich, and just cant be bothered to do anything but chat to you guys.

And have the odd puff on my JS. But it is just the odd one so I must be sick !

These damn chipmunks I have are doing my head in, they are using a squeaky wheel and have no consideration at all ! lolol

Hopefully Ron will make the tea, and then its off to watch Britains Got Talent.

What about a bit of WD40 on the wheel? If that won't poison them

I hope you haven't contacted anyone who'd been to Mexico lately ;)

I'm supposed to be watching the cup final but it's too hot and now I'm too tired: as Iva knows, I went down to check the post at 5.30 this morning thinking it was lunchtime 8-o So I'm going to have a snooze with my fan cooling me down.

I hae 9 cats too, as I work for Cats Protection, but they just have to watch the cage like its CAT TV..

In this house there are 9 cats, 7 chipmunks, 3 dogs, and 2 African Greys, as well as Ron and I.

7 of the cats are ferals that I couldnt find homes for or return so they just stayed.

I had 13 till a few months ago, but lost a couple of my oldies.

ahh a fellow feral lover
i also used to foster for the CPL and always took on the ferals i gave up fostering quite a few years ago
but Enid who ran the branch and later left the CPL and started up on her own is my ex sister iin law
and a couple of years ago rang me to say she needed somewhere for 3 ferals could i help so i took them in meaning to keep 1 and bring the other 2 on ready for homing
ended up keeping all 3 lost one of them last year from kidney problems but the other 2 are still here and although one of them is still a bit shy you wouldn't believe the other one had been feral considering they were 5 months old when i got them i am really pleased with how well they turned out

Its red hot here too... so Ron is watching the final, its not for me....

Egypt.. you lucky so and so, its always been a dream of mine to go there.

Scylla, have a kip girl !

ivape - ferals are my favourite, there is no cat quite like them, and when they bond, they do so unconditionally, hence we end up keeping them...lol
Yet they ask nothing in return. food and a bed to sleep on is all they really want from us, unlike a domestic who want us for a slave..lol

Taming them at 6 months can be done, but it takes time, and patience, trouble is they are tame to you, but seldom to anyone else.

I have a queen who I brought in when she was heavily pregnant, then couldnt put her back, and she is adorable, often allowing me to hold her and enjoying a good stroke, then she remembers she is feral and gives me such a look hahahaha

One lad, I have had for 9 years and only stroked him for the first time a few weeks ago.

Sorry everyone, rambling here...

Lets do rambling on the new thread I just created.

3. Installation of the ionizer
Carefully push the ionizer, with the plastic cap cart inserted, into the stick’s dedicated ionizer shaft until you reach the internal screw.

Gently screw the ionizer: hold and turn the plastic cap to screw the ionizer into the stick’s dedicated ionizer shaft.

Use the plastic cap cart as a grip to unscrew the ionizer from the stick’s body when needed.

All i want to know is ...
Does the Ioniser need to be screwed in round and round until it is tight as one would screw it onto a Penstyle Battery or a Janty Manual switch or does it just need to be pushed in till you hear the click then just turned round once or twice but does Not Screw tightly ?
I have now tried 2 Janty Classic Kissbox Atomisers and neither of them will screw in tightly.
Both Atomisers screw tightly onto my Janty Passthrough manual Switch and both work Excellent so if there is anything wrong i don't think it's the Atomisers.
If they supposed to screw on tightly as i've described then the problem must be the thread inside the Stick it'self.

Help.

Yes, Screw It All The Way On Like A Pen Style Or Any Other E-Cig Atom. But Do Not Overtighten It! When Its On You Will Know Because It Will Stop.

Atom Install: Be Sure To Push The Atomizer All The Way In You Turn It Clockwise While Pushing In, Start It Slowly With Some Pressure So The Threads Will Start To Catch, The Atomizer Goes Way In The Hole. Then You Can Check It By Removing The Cart And See If You Can Grab The Stub Of The Atomizer, You May Want To Wrap It With A Kleenex For Ease Of Turning.

Warning Do Not Use Any Tools Or You Will Break It! The Atomizer Goes Right In With A Little Practice If You Have Happened To get A Real Tight One Like I did. Also Be Sure That You May Have Already Screwed It In All The Way and Now Your Just Spinning The Cart. Look At The Pic To See How Little It Sticks Out (3 CM). Now try It And See.

FYI: Do Not Stick Any Tools Or Use Any Tools On Your Stick! Do Not Use Tools Inside The Atomizer Canal / Entrance Hole or Attempt To Turn The Connector Post That Looks Like A Screw Inside Of The Stick. If You Do Your Screwed Cuz You Probably Just Tore The Wire Off The Back Of The Connector. That Inner Connector Should Not Be Touched For Any Reason....

Hope That Helps, There No Secret Tricks Or Anything. :D

The atomizer does screw on tight, but once it's tight, the cart might keep turning while the atomizer is standing still. It can be hard to tell when that's happening unless you look really closely. I almost want to put a little mark on the cart end of my atomizer so I can recognize when it stops turning!

Deepest sympathy, Deewal - "they" just don't understand :(

In the end I bought the TAWA titanium like Christena's using, Toby saved my sanity by delivering it the next day - it's still a nippy fit but so much easier, and you can even screw it in using the cartridge as per instructions.

When you've screwed the atomiser in as best you can (you'll never do it with the cartridge in), hold the Stick up to your ear and press the button. It you hear a sizzle you should be OK, but I don't think you've got there yet :( I got mine going eventually with my bare fingers but I couldn't face going thru that again; then it was often tasting burny, hence I forked out for the TAWA.

Someone said to wrap some fine sandpaper around a piece of dowelling and increase the "bore" (do I sound as though I know what I'm talking about? Quite right, I don't).
