That's happened to me with a standard resistance 510 on my 5V box
mod (so...ostensibly the same resistance if you're using a 3.7V).
I had to change my
vaping habits somewhat when I switched to the box mod from an eGo (although it took the death of 3 atties to figure it out): take two 3-second vapes with a pause in between instead of a full 5-or-so second vape that you might be used to with a 3.7V with standard resistance. I think the atty gets overheated too easily, and when it's close to dry it gets really overheated.
Since changing my
vaping habits it hasn't happened...YMMV, of course.
