New atomizers are sometimes shipped with primer fluid in them to keep them from deteriorating prior to use. Before you use a new atty you need to get as much of that stuff out of there as you can. I just blow it out as much as possible. Some still gets left inside the atty though and you'll just have to vape through it. It won't taste very good when you first start out but it gets better after a while. Sometimes they're fine after 1/2 an hour, other times it takes several hours for the flavor of your juice to taste like it should. Also, new atty's usually don't put out as much vapor for a while when they're new. Vapor production will increase with use and should be fine after a few hours. At least that's been my experience.
