Atomizer bridge question

howdy. I'm also interested to find out the differences between "V" and "U" types.

here's what I can contribute for now:

two of my knock-off ego atomizers have "V" bridge. (purchased from DX)

two of my legit ego atomizers have "U" bridge. (shall go unnamed)

I also have a few super-minis, all of those have "V" type.

theoretically, lower ends tend to use "V" type.

but here's the kicker... I find the legit atomizers to be WORSE than the knock-off ones; noticeably slower and fewer vapor production.

I have had some of the V ones and they came with the carts that had the foil seal on them. Probably why they are shaped like that to puncture the foil. Defective, probably not. The V ones outperformed most of the U ones I've owned.

It's funny how using the V as a puncture tool is known to be risky as it may break the bridge... yet the V seems to be designed for exactly that purpose.

Then again, I also have the Vs on my egos which need not to puncture anything...
