Okay so my husband and I both have the Joye eGo-T 900mah's we are both new to vaping (about a month or so) we've just been "blowing" our atomizer/cone's out to keep them from getting gunked up, well about 3 days ago my husband said he thinks he "burnt" his atomizer up so we assumed there was nothing you can do so we just tossed it, I gave him mine (because he is going out of town) and ordered myself a new one.....well before he left town we thought we'd just give it a good cleaning w/ IPA before he leaves so that nothing bad happens while hes gone. After soaking it in the alcohol for about 30 minutes I ran it under some hot water a couple of times and let it dry for about 4 hours in front of a desk fan. He just plugged it all up and we got the juice going on it and SOMEHOW it too has burnt up...or at least I'm assuming what that god awful taste is....how in the heck is this happening? What is causing them to "burn" up, are we doing something wrong....how can we prevent these issues and is there any way to "unburn" the one that we just cleaned?? He is going out of town tomorrow at 5am so I'm doubting there's a whole lot we can do to get it ready for him to take tomorrow but is there anything I can do to salvage it and use it myself? It really stinks that in 3 days he has managed to burn up 2 of them.....ugh end vent!

ANY help is appreciated. TIA.

The reality is that they all burn up. If you get more than a week of vaping from atty you got your moneys worth. Four per month $28, much less than analogs. Cleaning can only improve taste and TH but no one has really proven that it increases life of the atty.

I experience the burnt taste when the atty coil gets gunked up with juice. It happens to mine after about a week of heavy vaping it seems like. I am using the low res. cone attys.

You can sometimes clear it up by vaping without your tank cartridge in. Just take the tank out and vape like you normally would except don't inhale that burnt crap. Just puff on it it 10 to 12 times and then put your tank back in. This doesn't normally work for me, but one in a while it does.

If it doesn't, then you will need to replace the atty or take it apart and clean it. This is very easy to do. Vicky from cignot.com has produced a video that clearly demonstrated how to do it. Just go to her site or search it on YouTube.

Before I started cleaning mine I was using a couple attys a week. Now I think I have been using the same 4 attys for about 3 months or so.
