I DID use the search option but I didn't quite find what I needed.

The problem I have is my new atomizers are very light and airy and work so well it's hard to use the older "clogged" feeling ones. Is there an easy fix for those? I've done the water and paper towel thing a few times but it doesn't seem to help. They are just hard to suck through.

Where exactly is this buildup that makes them do this? Can I clean it out with a needle or something?

I've found that there is a plastic disc between the atomizer and air inlet. In my opinion that plastic disc is designed to deform over a period of time to produce what your experiencing.

Some people use a a paper clip to open up the restricted airway. But I found it is actually that disc that is restricting the airway and using a paper clip is only a short remedy.

A red hot poker may do the trick and reduces the need for you to forcibly push though the plastic disk. ( just thought of this, gonna try it on my next "clogged" atomizer)

This is completely my opinion from my observations.

How odd. My trolling revealed this post that shows images of the "disc" I speak of and shows a comparison of a good vs bad one.

I see that disc is in fact something designed to help contain the e-liquid in the atomizer section and not the battery section.

Still if it wasn't designed to deteriorate it would be metal.

But the image shows you what you need to push through to open the airflow again.

I think it's random luck on atomizers. the 2 attys that came with my Joye 510 were nice and airy and worked well. One of them had the aforementioned plastic disc between the atomizer and air inlet in crooked so that it was mostly plugging one of the two holes near the threads, but it worked fine anyway.

I ordered a new TW Tornado that arrived a few days ago. Both the atomizers that came with it were so "clogged" on the draw I could not even use them. The hard drawing on them also seems to cause them to flood constantly. They were useless. Produced almost no vapor and literally left pools of leaked liquid all around them and all down the front of my shirt. They also had the wick material under the bridge sticking out all over as if someone just wedged a sloppy wad of it under there with a toothpick as an after thought.

Now we get to see how Totally Wicked responds to return/exchange requests.
