atomizer dead?

I have a penstyle vaporizer ... and yesterday, out of the blue ... the atty isn't heating up. I'm getting no vapour. I am on vacation ... so my choices are few.

The batteries are fine ... just no vapor and it's not getting warm.

I've had this less than 2 weeks ... would a careful rinse help?

I did blow it out ... put my mouth on the battery end [battery removed of course] and blew ... some moisture came out the other side, however, it still didn't heat up when I reattached battery.

I'm so new to vaping that I'm feeling very frustrated by this. I just feel like I'm doing something wrong!

If your atomizer isn't heating up that means the coil is damaged. There's no way to fix that short of disassembling the atomizer and soldering the leads. These things happen and there's really nothing you can do about it. Most of us keep a spare atomizer on hand for this very reason.

That's what I was afraid of ... and the company is sending me a replacement atomizer ... but I've also ordered a "spare" one just in case!

This is exactly the cituation when you need to think about back up.

I have always carry with me 2 sets of PVs, two-three 3 ml juice bottles, extra attys and cartos.

As I understand you only have 1 broken atty (which will be replaced) and just bought another one.
You have to have more than that to prevent fall back to analogs, same goes for batts, juice etc.

i learned my lesson with that one, right now, i have 2 attys in rotation with 3 backup and another 5 on the way, i tried to coast by with 1 atty, and it croaked on me, and i was out of luck for 3 days till some new ones came in the mail. lesson learned, always have backups

One of my cartos rolled off my kitchen table yesterday and hit the tile floor. I had just filled it too...sigh. It was SO dead. LOL

Fortunately I have a bunch of them...boxes...as back up. I also save all of my used ones, clean them and set them aside, just in case. haha!

I do the same thing, Ardeagold. I keep boxes of spare atty's. You just never know!

FYI for any one who may be traveling ,on vac.whatever .Until you can get a replacement many 7-11's circle K's etc are now carrying disposables.I would grab one before i grabed another analoug!A multimeter would be good to have also!

if anyone buys a disposable from circle k please let me know. i would like the parts when they are dead. i need them for a mod. they dont thread into ANYTHING else.
