Atomizer ohms?

Hi, anyone have advice on what atomizers to order to fit the 510 on a mod battery system? Will LR atomizers burn out on a 5volt? Do I need special atomizers of a certain ohm rating to get the best vapor?

Hi James,

Generally you do not want to use an LR at 5v. Not a good idea. That much I an tell you.

I'm not a high volt/low resistance vaper. So I'll leave the details to others.

around a 2.5-3ohm Atty would be a sweet vape at 5v James, its very subjective everyone has there own likes and dislikes, you wanna be around 3.5v--4.0v with that LR in my opinion, then once you crank the volts up to around 4.5-5v you twist on a reg ohm Atty and keep her wet, once over 5v twist on an HV Atty, and for 7.4 an XHV Atty. grab yourself a variable voltage Mod like a Provari, VV Ali'i, or even better save your coins for the next few weeks and try to get your hands on an Eclipse when they are released and you will start off like a king, anything with VV and juice feed is a nice system because you can dial your Attys in to the sweetest spot and your juice will peak on flavor as well, hope that helps ya out a bit

You definitely don't want to put an LR on a 5v machine. I'd start with something in the 3.2 ohm range. I use 3.5's on my 6v and it takes a really short drag to get a good hit.

Thanks everyone for the advice, I ordered the ProVari and I will give that a shot and not crank it over 5v to see how it works.
