Atomizer problem - Aspire NX30

Hello,
So I recently bought an "Aspire NX30 kit" and I set everything up, I poured menthol e-liquid into the atomizer, and for some reason it doesn't taste the best. I can feel the menthol taste but I feel some burning taste too. The product and also the atomizer is brand new. Some of my friends said that the atomizer is trash, but I can't believe that a brand new atomizer is completely unusable.

Does anyone having/had this problem? What should I really do?

Have you let the coil sir in the juice to soak it up thoroughly before firing it? Have you slowly increased the power to the coil? Some coils say they work at a much higher wattage than they need. If it came with the nautilus X, it's not a bad tank, but not the best either.

I've been using that same tank (Nautilus X) for a long time. I like the 1.8 ohm coils the best (run around 14 watts)
After filling the tank (like HSD said) let it sit at least 10 minutes before using. Keep and eye on the airflow (It can change when tightening the top cap) I like mine all the way open (Loose MTL) Also, try doing "primer puffs" (draw air without pressing the fire button) between vapes. About the mod (the battery part) once you set the voltage where you like it, be sure to lock it so it doesn't change. Here's a video that might help:
