i bought an aftermarket atomizer for my 510 e-cig made by ELEVAPE. The atomizer i am using is made by vapure, the guy tested it on the spot showing me that the product would work fine since it was already threaded for the 510 battery. Well the major issue is when you fully seat the atomizer the LED BUTTON will flash on the battery but not light the atomizer. I was thinking it's pushing the sealed battery connector down to far when threaded on... So if i buy a 510 to 510 converter this should fix the issue right?

Maybe not. The only atty that I have had a problem of short from being to tight are Rebuildables if your talking a Carto of Clearo then the atty is probably just bad. On the rebildables I have a weak point is the bottom silicone gromet for the center post if you tighten the atty to much it mashes the gromet and you get a short.

I'm using this atty "Saturn V4i Rebuildable"
Saturn V4i Rebuildable Atomizer

Also i believe i'm experiencing the same issues as Steved5600... Where the atty hits the little positive section in the battery and pushes it downward. This is due to the little silicone grommet that holds the center piece of the battery in. I think they call it a sealed battery, correct? So i'm thinking if i get a 510 to 510 adapter this should solve the issue...

Yea it did for me. I use the 510 to ego as I still have a couple of the ego threads and when I use a big tank type I use that screw on cover to cover the ego threads and support the tank.

sounds like a plan after work i will pick up a few 510 to 510 adapters. i was also thinking of find a shim / plastic spacer to put inline the atty and battery. Thus giving it the proper distance, if the 510-510 adapter doesn't work. I notice if i back of the atty just a tad from the battery it lights up fine. Well i guess this is the joys and trials of vapes. =)
