I got my dripper (Vandy vape mesh) stuck to a mod (Tarot pro). I'm really hopeless, tried unscrewing applying little force, then much force, ended up trying to get it off with pliers - nothing.
I watched some videos trying to solve my problem, but all that I found was just about how to get it done with tanks, which resulted in putting a screwdriver (or something) into the airflow and unscrewing it that way, which with a dripper doesn't help (obviously).
This happened to me for the first time, I've been using this atomizer for good 3 months already.
Any suggestions?

Well, unfortunately it's attached to your mod which kind of limits your options as far as using heat or cold to help loosen it. You could try running some hot water near the base of your topper ,but you would have to be extremely careful. Freezer might work and it cold doesn't harm batteries or electronics for a short period (I don't think, I don't know that to be 100% true.

You can buy ceramic tweezers that have those round gripper things for opening glass lids, and are small enough for a tank, you could try a vape shop near you if you have one.

My main recommendation with a dripper which can be sort of inherently messy, is to not let it sit on the mod for long periods without cleaning. It's probably fused to the mod with old e-juice that got caked on there, and also don't over tighten. Etc.

Best of luck,

Anna

Hi @Scace, it looks like you've received some pretty good advice already and I hope you find a solution to your dilemma. If/when you do, whether it was something suggested in this thread or concocted elsewhere, I hope you'll be inclined to share what did (or did not) work for you. That being said, I'm kinda' "new" in this forum and I have absolutely NO experience with any tank or problem like yours. However, I sometimes approach "problems" a little differently than most so maybe the following will be a "useful" perspective. I looked up images of your tank and noticed that there appears to be a "screw" on either side of the base, presumably for "attaching" the "mesh coil." If those screws are completely removable, you may be able to find longer screws with compatible threads at your local hardware store. The point being, the longer the screw the more "torque" you can apply with less effort. Furthermore, with longer screws, screwed in "all the way," pliers gripping those screws will be able to exert greater torque WITHOUT damaging your tank's base. Again, I have no experience with this kind of issue but I do sincerely hope you find a way to resolve it in a "cost-effective" manner. Good luck.

Coming from a location where a walk outside can be considerably colder than your average freezer, I can say that your battery should survive but there are important cautions. If you put the mod in the freezer, don't use it and especially don't charge it until it's back to room temperature, or at least well above freezing.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Applaud your candor, and subscribe to the the saying along the lines of: it's a wise person who knows their limitations.
Could contact:
local B&M Vape Shop (Visit) -----Might be simple.
A local machine shop should be able to handle it.
Could fill in your location, it may help you in obtaining location specific information to your future question(s).
On the top right hand corner of this post you will find --"your name" next to "Inbox and Alerts"
Place the mouse pointer on your name. You will get a drop down and on the left hand side of this drop down you will find "Personal Details". Click Personal Details.
In Personal Details, in middle of screen in gray, you will find "Location" Could fill that box line in.

wide rubber band, stretch it over the edge of your RDA, that will give you the best grip for it and simply give it the force needed.

If you still can't.. then get some of these at your hardware store (they are usually called tube rubber wrench).

Just be aware that if the RDA is that stuck, that it might damage your mod and rip the 510 screw connector out no matter how you decide to do it.
