I have noticed that when I an using an atomizer that has some age on it, I have to use the battery a lot more. When I put on a new or almost new atomizer I am able to get a lot more vapor production with a lot less battery time. What this means is by nursing an older atomizer I am putting a lot more demand on the battery.

I hate to retire an atomizer if it still putting out some vapor but is it worth cycling the batteries more often? I guess if I were using a USB pass-through it wouldn't matter. What do you think?

Yes I Agree.

Atomizers Do Effect The Battery, New & Old Will Be Different Due To Resistance Of The Atom, Batteries Also Wear (less time) & Yes Less Vape With Older Atoms and / Or Batts.

I Think Rotating Batts & Atoms Is Good as well. Using The Older Atom On The USB PT Is Good If It Works Good Enough For You. If U Don't Have A USB PT U Should Definitely Pick One Up. Certainly There Is A Time To Toss Your Useless & Poor Operating vaping Parts / Items it as well.

yeah 1161 .. its 15 ..

i got a good few 510 atomisers .... i've tried boiling ... washing ... coke bath .. vodka bath (wich went against the grain) all sorts .. nothing works for me .... someone should start an atomiser cleaning company

I have had real good results by soaking the attys in 70% rubbing alcohol for 3 to 4 days. Since March 29th I have only 2 "dead" atomizers. I have 2 that are only running at about 70% of original. The problem is more than likely carbon build up which will eventually render any atomizer useless.

think the part were i'm stumbeling is the drying .....i did a simple hold under the hot tap on one atomiser left it to dry in a warm cupboard for two weeks ... primed it well .. still i got a nasty taste ... wich i'm guessing it was heated up water .... and i noticed that the metal bridge thingy wasnt soaking up the juice as well as if it had lost its absorantness
