I'm a little confused about atomizers. My Provape came with a 510 LR atty. This is the first atty I've ever used. I would like to order more, but I'm not sure what atty's I can use with my Provape.

Can I use a standard Joye510 atty?

What about the 510 Mega XL atty's? (What's so XL about these anyway? Do they last longer, or produce more vapor?)

What about the High Voltage (6V) atty's? If they work, what is the advantage?

Thanks for any help!

I'll take a stab at this...

The LR means low resistance. Usually a 1.5 - 2.0Ω (Ohm) resistance. It gives you more wattage for the same 3.7v input. You should not use a LR atomizer at 6v or you'll fry the atty.

Standard could really mean any resistance from around 2.0 to 3.5 (kinda guessing here). Yes, you can usually use these at 3.7 or 6v.

Mega usually refers to cartomizers in my experience (someone else may know better). They hold more juice than a normal cartomizer. I think the Mega XL usually must refer to tanks for eGo PVs. Again, not sure since I don't have an eGo Tank.

HV are usually a higher resistance and they're better for 6v vaping because it moderates the higher input.

Even though I think you have a ProVape (and not a variable voltage ProVari), go to the link http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ari-variable-voltage-mod-358.html#post3187539 and play around with the spreadsheet to get an idea of how it changes the watts. I've found that watts are a better indicator of what you're getting at the atomizer than just volts. Or ohms. I like 8-10 watts, but that's just me.
