Okay.. so I've seen threads on these snazzy HV atomizers, and since I am needing some new ones, and my Chuck lives... I'm gonna need to order.

This math crap confuses me.

I've read the threads... but this is what my brain sees:

The 5.2ohm goes with 7 volts making it 5 volts or 8 volts wattage wattage 3.7+4ohms-6watts+56.7mah and then thats got a throat hit blah blah 5 volts 4.2ohms something blah blah blah...and basically at 6volts you are gettiing 4 volts and not 7 volts +3.

So...

Just for a moment....

Let's pretend I'm Rainman, but I'm no good at math...

I have a Chuck coming... with 2x3.7v batteries.
I wanna try and vape with the big dogs...
What atty's are we using for this?

I have 801's 901's and 510's already for my "other" mod... and they seem to pop fairly easily, if I'm not diligent in their safety. I assume that Chucky will eat them like free mashed potatoes at a fat farm.

With that in mind... what are all the cool kids using?

Hi, I'm in no way an expert, buy I have a Chuck. I have regular 510 attys and HV 510 attys. I noticed that if I use my regular 510 atty, (you must keep it wet, or it will blow it out) most of my liquids taste burnt. When I use my HV atty, I get as much TH and vapor as if I were using it at 3.7v. Yes, I've read that the HV atty takes the voltage down by 2v so that means that if your using 2x cr123's, that would be 4v ... so I guess that's why I can't tell the difference between the 18650 with my regular atty and my cr123's with my HV atty. BTW, I never use my HV attys anymore ... because of this.

So they aren't designed to handle vaping at the higher voltage, they just bring the higher voltage down to a manageable level....

...seems to kind of defeat the purpose of getting hotter batteries then.

Try the HV atty with two 18350 3.7v batteries. 7.4v to 5.4 volts. Hmm, I'm gonna have to order a Chuck to keep my Little Chuck company. :D

Seriously? I can do this? :?:I have 18350s. No HV atty tho... but I do have 1 or 2 attys I would be willing to sacrifice to satisfy my curiosity.

Who knows, might be crappy attys too. One straight up doesn't work. The other one fizzles onces in a while. I just opened a third and bumped down to 3.0v batteries.

I guess not all attys are created equal, I just assumed they all came from the same place in China, is this not true?

I would warmly welcome any suggestions for a trusted vendor from any Chuckleheads. Payday is coming this friday, may have to grab some.

Could be that I was just abusing them, but I know I was vaping much harder with them on my USBPT. But then again, the extra voltage may mean all the difference.

wow that all seems so complicated for me. I was wanting to a try a Chuck but Oh gosh i totally fry myself by messing somehting up. Maybe once ihave been around longer it wont seem so scary
Tara

It's not scary at all.

I'm just cursed around anything inorganic.

Trust me, it's still been an awesome experience...

Some of us are min/maxers too. Trying to push the envelope... like Maverick in Top Gun... Really, 3.0 vs. 3.7 etc etc... It matters not, either way you will be happy with your Chuck.

Not everyone tries to break things.
