wow that all seems so complicated for me. I was wanting to a try a Chuck but Oh gosh i totally fry myself by messing somehting up. Maybe once ihave been around longer it wont seem so scary
Tara

Tara, don't be scared off by the waffle totin' rabbit :p

Seriously, the Chuck is not complicated at all if you are just using the standard batts and attys.

Like waffle said though, some of us have to push the the envelope. And some of us insist on pushing it until it rips open (...cough...cough...waffle )

Just get a chuck and the suggested batteries and you will be more than happy.

It was awesome while it lasted. *puff puff boom*

just need a thagbuilt atty

Capin' buzzkill

Seriously tough, stock 510's have a hard time surviving 6V vaping, no way they will stand up to 7.4V (especially since it's really 8.4V at full charge). I'm surprised you got that second puff in there before the boom.
If you really must do 7.4V, get the 5.5ohm HV's (not the 4.5ohm). Unless you want to change your name to attystomper :p

Yeah, I know what you mean. It was all for the sake of science...yes, lets go with that.

I actually just had one pop on 6v as well, and I was being pretty careful. Good thing I ended up with quite a few through chance.

Will be ordering some HV attys, and reserve the stock attys for little chuck...before it hits the pocketbook.

Didn't realize they pumped out so much juice, was going good with my USB pass, but just learned that its only pumping around 4.8 or 5 or somesuch.

That or learn how to build atties... and re-build your standard atties with thicker nichrome wire at 4.8 to 5.7 ohms( resistance). Nothing like a red hot cherry to light your A^% on fire.LOL

How do you manipulate the title above your avatar... I haven't played around with that yet but I was wandering about it.

You can donate to the E-Cig website. Not sure what the money goes to.. would like to think it's for starving children in Beverly Hills.

then you have to change it again to attysmith

the stock 510s are 2.5 ohm, which is why they vape great at 5V, while (to some including me) they taste burnt at 6V.

The stock 801, 901 is 3.5 ohm and work great at 6V. If you want my advice, as someone who has tried many ohm levels, (from 1.5 to 7.8ohm) and many voltages (from 3.7V to 10V), the best HV atty to get for 2x3.7V batts is going to be the 5.5ohm. IMO a 4.5ohm at 6V is weak and a 4.5ohm at 7.4V is back into the burnt range. The best ohms for 6V is 3.5. so grab an adapter and use a 801, 901, or carto to get 3.5 ohm.

All this is a matter of opinion and these are just mine. Take it for what it's worth.

Thanks... so far its "worth" about 30 bucks. I just don't want to have to buy atty's bulk from China.

EDIT: 10V? Did you have an OOBE after that?

I've totally switched to cartos, you are most definitely correct, Chucks at 6v love Cartos! Totally cost effective too, you can refill many times! :D

Yeah, I use cartos on my other mod at around 5ish. I just need to get a set of adapters, will probably make the plunge this weekend. Especially for work and on the go.
