At the risk of NEVER using forums and having this thread removed...

Here's a summary of what I would like to explore.

The original design and patent for the "E-Cigarette" hinged around Ultrasonic Technology to vaporize our liquid and NOT a heating element.

Given the fact that this, in theory, (the design may be already in the market somewhere...) was the original intent, I find it hard to believe it's no-where to be found online.

Instead of constantly burning up elements in our "typical" atomizers, wouldn't it be MUCH nicer to employ ultrasonic technology to just vaporize our liquids w/ burning anything!!??

Just a thought.

Sorry moderators if this doesn't comply somehow.

Technically speaking, by using ultrasonic waves, we could bypass the need for any coils, and skip to mini-vile carts w/ thin membrane tops for the mist to escape from.

Thus increasing cart life exponentially.

you would basically be filling a hollow cart instead of using the saturated "stuffing."

The downside though is that mist feels cool rather than warm.

I suppose the only real down-side to this theoretical concept would be the increased fragility of our e-cigs given the nature of ultrasonic transducers themselves....

Not to mention the need for higer voltage / larger batteries... (I think this may have been mentioned somewhere else in this site forum.)

But, as it stands, I like the Janty Stick idea already...

And in keeping with the thought of not looking like I'm actually smoking a real cigarette, I suppose I could afford a somewhat "bulkier" PV design...

Think I'll order a sample ultrasonic x-ducer or 2 online and get some corresponding circuitry worked up to test my theory in a month or so...

Actually, utrasonics is far lower in power requirement.
