Magnet + Battery ?

Is it okay to use a tiny magnet atop your flat top battery in a mech?

I ask because my MNKE in my chi you clone is kinda short and I must extend the batt pin almost til it's falling out. I've tried many fixes and this one seems to be working great. It basically makes the flat top batt into a button top.

Any advice would be great. Especially if sub ohming plus magnets plays any factors.

I do it all the time. make or buy a rubber washer to act as a "centering insulator"... a good hit and the magnet can move sideways and short out the whole enchilada. ;-)
