I'm going to say this in the nicest way possible. Please stop mentioning it, "The ProVari" in treads that have nothing to do with the device. If someone is asking for advice on what APV to buy, fine. If not, don't mention it. I just read a post about the evic and the OP said, "I found the perfect VV for me." The very next poster replies with, "its not worth the money, just get a ProVari." Those weren't the exact words, but close. After someone saying that its annoying hearing about the ProVari all the time, he says "I was only trying to help." The OP never asked for help, "I found the perfect VV for me," is what they said. Yesterday somebody new to vaping asked for some advice on what to buy and said they only have about $50 to spend. And of-course, someone says get a ProVari. Really? Where in the heck is this new vaper going to find a ProVari for $50. I think the whole vaping community realizes that the ProVari is a great product. We don't need you telling us to get one EVERY TIME someone says they might buy a different product or how great it is every time someone even mentions a different product. And we really don't need to hear about it when someone says they only have 50 bucks to spend. Here is something to think about. If I could afford to buy a Mustang, I would, but its not in the budget so I can't. If I could afford to buy a Corvette, I wouldn't because I wouldn't want one. Sorry for the rant

Tell you the truth: I agree with bebeau25 I just want to scream sometimes with some of the hammering and badgering of some people regarding the Provari. It's a great PV. May be one of the very best. Fine. But that isn't what EVERYONE needs or even wants! Try to answer the questions being presented, and skip pushing the agenda so much with the P- thing. Please? That's like Old Man Potter in It's a Wonderful Life when he tells George Bailey that the "rabble" should save up their money and buy their own home....and George comes back with how hopeless that is for some people, how they would be old and grey and the kids moved away before they could save up money for a house. Well...that's extreme. I know. And maybe not the best analogy. I know for a fact that when I was getting interested in APVs the LAST thing I wanted to hear was I had to wait and "save for it". Honestly. I have had a couple of opportunities to buy a Provari. I haven't yet...choosing instead a different path. Does that make me "less" of a person or stupider than a Provari owner? No. I simply choose a different road to suit my needs and destination. Ease up a bit, okay? Most people are smart enough to figure out what they want to do...and some are going to go their own way regardless of how you hound them what is "right". Most of the time you cannot "save" a person from "the lessons (you) learned". People are going to learn their lessons at their own pace. Okay. Getting off the soap box now. Sigh.

It is true that the Provari is "pushed" quite a bit more than it should and I pretty much agree with all of what bebeau25 said. I think that, it many cases, vapers who own the P have already gone through a lengthy and costly "trade-up" cycle in their PV's and are elated to have finally found such a fine device. With that history, they feel compelled not only to "tell the world" but also to "prevent others from making the same mistake". It makes the hairs on the backs of their necks stand up when someone says the want to buy a $150+ setup that they know from experience is not half the quality of the P...Nonono...don't do that...just get a...
Don't be too hard on them as, in most cases, I really think they are just trying to short-circuit the buying/learning/re-buying... cycle that they themselves went through when giving advise to newer vapers. Really, if it were all egotistical, they would tout their purchases as unattainable by the masses when, in fact, they are suggesting that everyone [that can afford it] should get one.

That said...yeah, it can get a bit annoying.
