*click, click, bang* Sorry Issac, I waited as long as I could. Cisco spec 306s in route.

After you been around awhile you'll see it's best to stock up on your favorite products or you have to settle for second best.

Throw a couple of drop of 555 in there = the nuttiness.

That must be why I like 555 so much, because I'm nuts.

why are you telling us?
Maybe a better question is... Who appointed you as the spokesperson for "us"?

Last time I checked, he had all the same rights to speak here as you do. I think his comment is reasonable. I like Isaac too but frankly, after a 3 week absence (and site crash) without so a single comment here, I can understand some customers feeling a little bit abandoned.

I can't think of a single reasonable explanation why he himself hasn't posted here in so long. (Yeah, I know about twitter. not much there either. And this is where the customers come from and hang out.)

I read the other thread where someone asked 'what's up w/ Isaac?' or some such & the responses. Most are nice, but there's that little percentage of self-appointed, obsequious, supplier fanboy gang posers who just have to try and embarrass the guy by answering with some tripe like 'He's busy being wonnnnderfulll and making us haaapyyyyyy with new thiiiiingssss'. BTW, Do you think Isaac would want that???

So, for the record, I really think you & the rest oughta be nicer to folks... unless they have earned your 'wrath'. And the same thing goes for those who put public Thanks on these smarmy little replies.

This is a forum, not a cult loyalty contest.

('Scuse the rant. Bullies annoy my sinuses... especially when others pile on & no one stands up to 'em.)

I can. He's very busy trying to get this all done and beings it's been posted numerous times on this forum and beings we're all supposed to be logical adults he probably figured we didn't need to be told again for the umteenth time that he's switching servers and setting up the new one plus trying to be a husband and father at the same time. I hope he continues to get it done because that's where he's needed the most not holding our hand through the whole ordeal.

=Vaporologist;4285198]True. At Ikenvape, we encourage hoarding :)
Stocking up and hoarding are two different things and I stock up on other vendors supplies I use too. I ran out once on another site and didn't like it. But I do share as many members will tell you.

Edit: (I'm teasing, just in case...)
I knew you were Vaporologist.

There was that one time when I ordered 50 fusions on one order... haha (I wasn't the only one!!)
Now that's just true, 100% unadulterated Hoarding Loft, You bad boy.:laugh::laugh::laugh:

As a computer professional, I really don't understand this. Isaac may know atomizers but, he really needs to look after his business a little better. These things usually don't just show up on your doorstep. They build slowly. You have time to get ready. You plan the move for minimal outage. I'll be honest, if I couldn't move an application to a new server in one weekend, I'd probably be fired. That's a planned move. In a pinch, I have to nurse the old system along while I get the new environment ready. That really sucks but, it can be done. There might be some performance issues but, they keep running. I'm not saying Isaac needs to know how to do that but, he should have hired someone that does.

The thing is this is his livelihood and he's forcing his customers to go to his competition. Some of them are going to decide not to come back. They are going to find something they like just as well. It might even be cheaper. Every day that site is down, hurts his business.

It was when I was new to IKV and I had just discovered them. I was having a real hard time adapting to vaping and they (the Fusions) really helped me transition from smoking to vaping, so I felt a sense of needing as many as I could afford at the time - it was more like a security blanket. Once I actually transitioned, I sold the extras off in the classifieds rather than holding onto them and hoarding them.

I was just kidding you Loft, buddy. I loaned out a bunch and then one order I made was for Fusions because of another issue. Then everybody paid me back at the same time and I ended up with around 100 of them so don't feel bad Loft.

I know he's been down for along time and I also know it bothers him more than it does any of us, believe me. He is very kind and considerate and treats his customers like friends. Sure he may lose a few but most of us aren't just here for his products and know how hard he must be working to get things going again. This is his business but more than that he really likes being on here posting with everyone and helping with their problems. If there was a way he would be here now so keep your good thoughts up and maybe it won't be too much longer.

I was addressing Issac. Didn't bother to PM the man 'cause I know he's busy, but he'll get around to reading the treads. I know that if I was in his shoes, I'd make time to put my ear to the ground to see how this snafu has affected my customers. I like the guy, so I lead off with an apology. THAT was the reason behind the post. Wasn't tryin to be snarky, just giving honest feedback.

Heh, yeah, I know. I have been around long enough to know that. I may not have years under my belt, but my ears haven't been wet for a while. I was around during the last server crash as well. I know these things happen. Thing is that I ordered an io6 as soon as I could to test it out. Attys last me about a month and the atty I was using at the time only had a weeks worth of wear on it. When I finally got to test driving the io6, putting it through it's paces, testing it's longevity...well when I had used it for 3 weeks, determining that a few of em would be worth having around, the site crashed, such is life.

So............yeah. I hope the site is back up soon :p
