My husband has been burning out ego atty's on a regular basis. Even after just a couple vapes. I've managed to save most by switching with him but could use some suggestions.

Attys should be kept wet all the time. I drip and 3 drops would be 10 good puffs then i put 2 or 3 drops again. I this way it will be always wet. When using carts, if the taste of the flavor goes off then its the time to refill them. Never let your attys run dry. 
How long is he holding the button in? I'm presuming its a manual of course. Don't hold the button down too long 5-6 seconds should be long enough really. Some people just depress it for 3 or 4 max (I tend towards the higher end though lol).
Are you using carts or dripping? Atties can't be dry - if they dry out they'll burn out fast. If he sucks down a cart really fast and doesnt top off or drip the bridge will get too dry. ACtually if he vapes really fast dripping might work better - it did for me.
Are the atties from a good supplier or cheap 510 clones? This doesn't always matter but Im curious.

Atty's from good supplier. I don't understand it as I check his often. I've even switched with him and I never let my atty's dry out. I've watched him and he doesn't depress the button too long either. We use carts. Dripping only works if you're sitting in one place.
Is it possible that Hubby is sticking the Ego in his pocket between vapes? Or some place that would cause the button to be depressed while not actually vaping? It sounds like he is doing everything else right so that is the only thing I can think of.
