I know this is probably a repeat but there is so much info here that I cant find what I want. I know I will probbably get 50 different answers, but thats OK.
What is the best way to clean 510 attys and can you clean them to often? I want to get the most life out of them. I have been cleaning them in vodka, blowing them out and baking them in the oven @ 175-200 deg untill dry. Is this good?

LOL "to the trash they go"!

Easiest fastest way for me that works perfectly, is like stated above...rinse under hot water. I usually force water through both ends, then I run isopropyl alcohol through them, blow them out, and dry burn till the sizzlin stops and I can see that coil glow real good. Never lost an atty. All that takes 5-10 mins max.

Well, I can't compare them to new because my entire set up (3eGo batts # 5 attys) was a hand me down from a friend that had just upgraded to a vv PV. After I got home with them I cleaned them and dried them in the oven. There was a noticeable difference. Smother draw and more vapor, a lot more vapor. If you are afraid you might get distracted anbd forget them in the oven just preheat to 175-200 deg, turn off the oven and put them in. It only takes about 5 - 10 min. for them to dry but a lot can happen in that much time.

I like it too, but with the eGo Mega cylinders I use it takes MUCH longer to dry them out. I've found it helpful it blow out as much water as I can, put them on the battery and flick a lot more water out before starting the drying phase. I aim at a window shade so I can hear the water flying out.

BTW, it's not MY method, just one I like.
